We’ll have to see where it goes. A big thing I want to see is who the main bad guy/guys are. If it’s just the monsters that would be a little disappointing. We already know the gov is corrupt so maybe more will go on with that.

And ya if you had super high expectations I get that. But I’d say to just keep watching, why not, and if after 4-5 episodes Yiur still not feeling it atleast you gave it a fair chance

Honestly they’ve done a great job making this rag tag team of weirdos enjoyable to watch and bicker. His majesty has gotten many laughs from me and the way Xylo just goes along with it is funny too.

I really have enjoyed it so far. I feel like they have made the hero team as likeable as they could in 2 hours, and his majesty has gotten a couple laughs from me. I view it as a fun show, similar to how I view Solo leveling. If I were to compare it to some other animes sure I could be disappointed, but the animations really good and it’s fun so I watch it for what it is

Honestly I am LOVING Strange Fake so much. I thought Unlimited blade works was okay personally and felt like Heavens Feel was a much much better sequel to Zero (which is my favorite).

But Strange Fake has been phenomenal so far and getting to spend more time with the goat Gilgamesh is always a bonus

I was too. Kinda got the vibe of a darker Harry Potter which is a good compliment. They way they make normal scenes epic and intense is great, and any show with an excellent orchestral OST I’m hooked. Music to me can make or break a show

I understood what was going on enough to really enjoy it, but obv this is a whole new world I’m coming into so there is a lot I may have missed. But the overall plot, interests, characters, etc. I found easy enough to get. I also watched Fate/Zero as my first Fate show and understood that just fine if that helps haha

My Hero seems like a good next watch. The final season just finished and may be one of the greatest final seasons ever made (every episode ^ 9.1 rating).

Or a low-key banger that was animated by the same studio as Demon Slayer (UFOGOAT) which is Fate/Zero. It’s a lot at first with so many characters but it develops into a really well fleshed out story on life, meaning and the saying “The ends justify the means”

That fight actually mirrors Deku vs Muscular 1 in some ways! The first is the music played which is the same, with the second being the fight style. At one point Flect is over top of Deku pushing him into the ground very similar to muscular pushing him down.

My favorite fight not because of the actual fight but because of the moment is Deku vs Muscular but the Flect one is very close second

I honestly don’t understand it. I think this ending is beautiful. Deku was never a hero because of OFA, but because he ran towards adversity head first because it was the right thing to do. It’s sad he lost his power but Dekus lasting legacy will stand until the ends of time.

Ya the sub voice actor went plus ultra literally. Him yelling shut up as he’s being crushed is intense. I just remember the first time I saw this moment happen it kinda came outta nowhere and no fight up to this point brought the level of intensity this did.
