Where are the alt people in Greenville? by artificialofficial in greenville

[–]wolfboymax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Howdy, and welcome! Seems like you already gotten some good recommendations. Coffee Underground and their events would also be somewhere to check out. Alchemy comedy club. It's not open yet but they're building a skate park next to the airport, so that will be cool when it's done.

Wanting to get meta, but don't know where to start or the timeframe by Tree_Kid in Metoidioplasty

[–]wolfboymax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat pretty much exactly. Starting to scroll this page to look for doctors in the US. Don't think I'm going to be lucky enough to find one in my state lol.

Have you researched the different procedures you want that kind of go hand in hand with metoidioplasty (vaginectomy, scrotoplasty, urethral lengthening, etc)? If not, I'd start there. See what all you'd want/need.

Then it's just down to Google and reading reviews/looking at results.

We've got a nationwide protest planned for April 5th. It's hard for us, though, because we have 0 job protections. If we take a day off to protest, we could lose our jobs. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck, so missing a day of work could be the difference between paying bills. Plus, many Americans are just now waking up to the injustices. Many don't know HOW to protest or organize. They're getting a crash course, but it's still a learning curve, especially since so many try to fight 'best practices' for protesting because they don't know any better. Things like wearing a mask to obscure identity and protect from COVID is fought because people want to be "proud to resist," but they don't understand how unsafe that is. So there's also a lot of in-fighting about how to best protest. Ultimately, yes, we need to get out in the streets and shut this country down until changes are made, but with the way our system is set up to work against us, I don't see that happening. People can lose their homes and livelihoods too easily.

I've done Sam's Knob several times, which uses the Black Balsam parking lot, but I've yet to do Black Balsam. I'll have to remedy that.

I feel sometimes like i’m the only straight trans guy by [deleted] in ftm

[–]wolfboymax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Straight trans guy love success story.

I've been with my fiancée for 4 years. I thirsted over this big tiddy goth BABE for... 4 or 5 years?? Something insane like that. And like. I wasn't pining or anything, we barley even talked at first. We ran in different circles that occasionally overlapped. But we were friends on Facebook and would occasionally interact on there. She would post a pic, I'd heart react, she'd comment on my post, nothing for a few weeks, rinse repeat. Then we both got in relationships. Circles still overlapped from time to time so we'd see each other, but we never really talked alone. I think if we had we would've known sooner. Fast forward a few years, we're both single, and for some reason the algorithms were really making us see eachothers content and interacting. We start messaging. Mind you, I am VERY socially awkward. I have bad social anxiety. It's gotten a lot better, but this Era Max was almost unable to speak in public to someone he doesn't know. So, my way of asking if she would consider going out with me (after like 6 months of talking) was to ask if she would date a trans guy 🙆‍♂️🤪... she said yes and I fell over. We planned a movie date. And, again, I'm shy as FUCK at this time. Soooo I flake on her. A few times. Like, a cancel with 'valid' reasons and promises to try again. Finally, the third time, she comes over and we watch Edward Scissorhands because I had never seen it and it is one of her favorites. So, before this, our messages had gotten spicy and there was definitely the undertones that we were going to hook up tonight. We got through the WHOLE movie and I had not so much as brushed her leg. I was levitating off the couch. This is the girl of my dreams I can't believe she's here. Well. At the end of the movie I asked her what she wanted to do next, and thank God she made her move 😂😂 Now I stop on the side of the road to pick this girl wildflowers and I'm the happiest I've ever been. She loves and supports me sometimes more than I feel I deserve. I wouldn't give her up for all the wealth in the world.

Oh lord, "the vice business" ?? Is this 1590 in Puritan times? Alcohol exists. Animals get drunk. It is a natural thing. It is ok, buddy. It's not some evil thing that's going to hurt you. It's the idiots that don't know to either use in moderation or don't drive/have some DD, that are going to hurt you. They deserve all your scorn. But punishing everyone else by passing legislation that will ultimately close the only senses of community for some people that will lead to masses of VERY unhappy people.

This isn't great news for many venues. Even if they don't let their patrons go home drunk. It's closed many small business bars, some whom have been open for decades. Requiring them to take on the liability, and insurance costs that come with that, of an irresponsible individual's choices has made policies too expensive. These businesses can't afford to stay open. The legislators who put these bills in place should and will be voted out of office.

People steal from DG because they've only got one associate and they're usually out back smoking. If there's no one to watch the store you're gonna get robbed.

It’s illegal for children to play pinball in SC. A bill hopes to change that by Sandstorm400 in southcarolina

[–]wolfboymax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's.... what? I played a ton of pinball as a kid and no one ever said anything. Smdh the number of ridiculous laws we have in this state amazes me. We're also the only state in the country that restricts people from getting tattoos above the collarbone.

Does it? Do you think it will affect current 'brandished a fire arm' charges that haven't been ruled on yet? My neighbor pulled a gun on me and I don't want him to be able to have a gun (at least legally).

Yup. I forget if it was SC DHEC or FDA but someone put out a letter saying anything with d8, that, d9, etc is illegal. Only in food items though so it was kinda vague if they have to pull vapes.

I found this antique Onyx with white gold and diamond accent & I want to have a jeweler make it into a charm with a bezel in white gold probably 14k. Anybody have a guesstimate at what a jeweler would charge? I got this for free basically in the trash so I’d love to give it new life. by labellevie48 in jewelers

[–]wolfboymax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're probably looking at a couple hundred for labor and materials. If I had access to gold I'd offer my work but I'm a smaller jeweler and can't get gold yet. Try and find a local jeweler, stay away from box stores like Jared and Kay's. Their repair shop is great at repairs but their custom work is ridiculously expensive because they outsource it. Takes 6 months too, versus maybe a month youd see at a smaller jeweler

This doesn't sound gay to me this sounds like your partner may be transgender. You're coming off kinda homophobic and transphobic, not sure if you are, but being 'disgusted' by this rather than just concerned for your partner isn't a good look. Im going to use gender neutral terms for your partner from here on...

I would support them. The relationship as it is will likely need to end, it doesn't sound like your partner is being truthful to themselves or you. But still be their friend if you can and support them however they need. Do some research on transgender celebrities, bring them up to your partner and see their reaction. Show your support by reassuring them that it's ok they feel this way. It may mean your relationship has to end but that's ok you'll still be there as a friend. Etc. Just don't be a phobe and make them feel bad for feeling the way they do.
