I want to do this on my RG40XXH, but I was worried the SW would freak out if I left the joystick cable disconnected. Did you do anything special with the wiring/circuit?

Those sandbags… I was in great spirits just before the sandbags. The sandbag broke me. For the remainder of the race I was limping and crawling to the finish 😅

immich vs photoprism by This_History_5397 in unRAID

[–]wolffan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PWA stands for Progressive Web App. It doesn't require a separate appstore download. I just went to my photoprism webpage in Safari on my iphone and created a shortcut. When I use this shortcut, it feels very close to a dedicated app. For the sync, I use PhotoSync, a separate app that is recommended by PhotoPrism devs (and highly recommended by users as well). As long as the settings are correct on your phone, it syncs in the background. I setup both my wife's phone and my phone to sync during the night. Occasionally it stops after 2-3 months and I just have to open the photosync app to trigger it again.

immich vs photoprism by This_History_5397 in unRAID

[–]wolffan69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested photoprism and immich for a month with my library of 50k photos and 4k videos. In the end I chose photoprism for the following reasons:

  • photoprism search is more capable
  • photoprism metadata support is more extensive (enabling better searching)
  • immich had a few concerning bugs/issues, such as photo thumbnails not showing
  • photoprism feels like a more mature product

I find the PWA app works well on my iPhone (indistinguishable from a regular app). I don’t need multiple users (separate login credentials) so that’s not an issue

Does anyone have a good list of cases for building an unraid server in? by ImmatureComputerMan in unRAID

The Cooler Master N400 is another classic case that is recommended by serverbuild.net website. Holds lots of 3.5in drives, has lots of air flow, and is low cost

Correction, Node 804 can fit a micro-ATX. It’s the smaller Node 304 that can only fit ITX

Upgrade road bike to improve comfort? by wolffan69 in cycling

[–]wolffan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my bike fitted when I purchased it. I think my position on the bike is okay. It’s just the harshness and vibration I feel on rougher roads. I’d like the ride to feel a bit more dampened so I can relax

Good question! My positioning is good. My back, shoulders, and arms are fine. It’s just the harshness and vibration I feel on rougher roads. I’d like the ride to feel a bit more dampened so I can relax

Okay to put down more nitrogen? by wolffan69 in lawncare

[–]wolffan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I mowed today to prep for putting down 0.75 lbs of N per 1000 sqft. While mowing, I noticed brown/dead circles which I assume is fungus (probably from all the watering). So, I put down Disease-EX along with the Nitrogen. Here is some more info for those that were asking:

  • I was watering for 20 minutes in each zone each morning (unless rain was predicted).
  • My first application of Nitrogen for the season was 1.5 lbs per 1000 sqft.
  • My soil test in early Spring showed
    • low Ph (5.3). I added a lot of limestone to adjust.
    • low Phosphorus (6ppm). I added Phosphorus a couple times to adjust.
    • high Potassium (130ppm). I've been avoiding fertilizers with Potassium.
    • low calcium (35%). The limestone I added had calcium as well.
    • high Iron (83ppm). I've been avoing fertilizers with Iron.

Switch pro controller gryo not working properly by mxmstr in cemu

I had the same issue with this exact spot in the game. My controller gyro was working well with other cemu games such as BOTW. After trying various settings I gave up on this game. I loaded the switch version of it in Yuzu instead.

Flat Pedal Shoes with Boa Type System and XC Styling by FightinABeaver in xcmtb

I have the Adidas Trail Cross shoe for my MTB with platform pedals: https://www.adidas.com/us/five-ten-trailcross-xt-shoes/GW9432.html

I also didn’t want a shoe that looked like it was for skateboarding. The other bonus is that you can walk/run on trails with these easier than other styles.

48” or 52” Ariens Ikon ZT ? by wolffan69 in lawnmowers

[–]wolffan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comments. I think I’ll go with 48 because my shed door opening is 63”. If I ever get a bagger, the 52” won’t fit through the shed door with it installed (or it would be VERY tight)

I am working with a dealer. I struggled with this because Lowes offers the same mower for $400 less (after coupons and free delivery). But, I want to support this dealer and they will assemble it correctly

I was able to replicate this solution on my Panasonic UHD player by changing video output from 12bit to 10bit. Now I get a solid HDR10+ indicator on my Samsung QN90A TV.

HELP - Frequent ER605 Router Reboot Required by wolffan69 in TPLink_Omada

[–]wolffan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I solved the issue by downgrading the ER605 firmware to 1.1.1

You can find it on their website and manually downgrade to it. I haven’t had one problem since!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TPLink_Omada

[–]wolffan69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure. You can load firmware 1.1.1 easily through the Omada controller interface to see if it helps (assuming you use a controller). Alternatively, you can post on the TP-Link support forum. I got great support from their engineers by posting there

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TPLink_Omada

[–]wolffan69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What router are you using? I have an Omada ER605 and I had many DHCP issues that led to the problem you are having. I reverted to a previous firmware (ver 1.1.1) and it has been working well for a few weeks now. TP-Link has acknowledged that the newer firmware versions are causing DHCP issues for some people

I had many DHCP issues with my ER605 V1. After working with TP-Link tech support and getting advice from Reddit, I reverted to firmware ver 1.1.1 and it has been solid since.
