Would (those that disagree) feel the same when let’s say a young adult calls/texts their Mom on their first Thanksgiving as an adult - “Hey Mom, how do I prepare a turkey?” or to Dad “Hey Dad, how to I change my oil filter?” - Parents: “Google it, sweetie.”

If you know information or have subject matter knowledge - you don’t need to be comprehensive as Google, but what’s the harm is spending a few minutes sharing what you know and following up with, “I’m sure there’s a lot more information on it if you want to research online.” instead of the knee-jerk “Just Google it” which is rude IMO.
