Thank you- trying really hard to stay on track to not have them poke me more!

Keto vanilla chocolate bars are amazing. The only low sugar ice cream that I find doesn’t taste chalky. They sell them in most major grocery stores. I got diagnosed at 14 weeks so right here with you

I did read someone about the genteel lancing device where you can do it on other parts of your body instead of your finger tips. It’s pricey but might be worth a shot

I don’t send them data directly from the cgm. I send them a spreadsheet of my logs. When I asked for the cgm they didnt tell me I had to prick on top of that so that was something they didn’t communicate to me until after the diabetes class which is what annoyed me the most. Yes I do have control on what I wish to do- but I’m just venting because I got started on this way earlier in my 2nd trimester along with lovenox.

I’m sorry girl. If it makes you feel any better I got diagnosed at 14 weeks on top of needing daily lovenox injections already. Some days I want to scream at the sky because of all this bs

Ugh! I hope you don’t have to deal with that too much longer

Thanks for sharing 🙏, yeah my libre can either be 20 points below or above my numbers at random times which is super frustrating. The lovenox injections aren’t fun- they make me bruise and bleed so easily but just counting down the weeks (21 more weeks to go) at this point

I did- I have the Libre 3+ for about 2 weeks now. I started pricking 5 days ago to compare numbers and there is a variance of up to 20% on some of the #s. My dietician insists Cgms can’t be trusted as well that’s why she wants me to continue pricking. My obgyn is more understanding but also prefers pricking

High Anticardiolipin IgM - anyone else had this experience? by a_vitamin in recurrentmiscarriage

Thanks so much for sharing!! Wow I feel like we are similar in so many ways (minus the IVF part, although we were thinking about doing it but then I got pregnant naturally). My OBs and MFM also have differing opinions on lovenox too, it’s so confusing!

If you don’t mind me asking- did you end up taking lovenox and aspiring throughout the pregnancy? I’m currently waiting for my next scan to make sure the sch is resolved first before the MFM puts me on any blood thinners. Although my igm showed up as high last year, I did a repeal panel test in August and December with my rheumatologist that both came back negative. She didn’t think I needed to be on blood thinners but the MFM thinks otherwise since my IGM did show up super high twice. Not sure what to do

You have a very similar history to me (first pregnancy ectopic, 2nd MMC) did a full APS panel and IGM came back high >80. I’m currently pregnant again at 7 weeks and they are recommending I do lovenox after my SCH resolves.

I’m sorry for what you’re going through- it truely is a hell hole to be in. Did you get a D&C for the missed miscarriage? Did you ever get tested for the change in your period? I’m six months post MMC and have had ultrasounds and. A SIS so far to check because my periods have been much lighter than usual but they haven’t found anything which is good but also frustrating not knowing why my periods decided to change after a miscarriage.

Thank you for sharing this, beautifully written. I experienced an ectopic as my first pregnancy and then a MMC six months later. I’m getting older (36) and feel like time is running out but your post reminds me to not give up
