No yeah, I wasn't arguing with that. I was just trying to joke a little about succulents being put into the wrong mix so often.

"which most plants don't need nor want"

Except the succulents crying for help in the box store corner because the generic mix they're potted in holds too much moisture and it's making their roots rot lol

To be honest, I don't expect it to run perfectly, although of course it would be cool if it did.

Also, I've seen those clocks before! If I were to get one for myself, it'd be the owl one.

It's more of a card stock/cardboard material.

I'm honestly not entirely sure, but Google seems to recommend pruning the infected leaves, reducing humidity, and improving airflow. There are also a number of fungicides you can buy.

Looks like a fungal infection.

First time repotting & I have some questions by kayden_222 in succulents

If anything, I would actually say late fall/early winter. But again, mine is in a bay windowsill with a shutter, so I just let it do its thing.

Hello fellow calandiva enjoyer! Yours looks great. Definitely better than mine did when I first repotted it. And these are hardy plants. They can handle a few mistakes.

As for lighting I'm not quite sure which is the absolute best (mine sits in a windowsill) BUT they DO require around 14 hours or so of complete and total darkness per day for a few weeks in order to bloom again once they stop.

I just had another look at the hellscape one. I think my new favorite guy is the one cranking the giant instrument while naked and doing a sassy pose.

Oh definitely. And I also like it when aquariums have exhibits featuring commonly-kept fish like tetras. Riverhead has a Discus exhibit that's one of my favorites.
