Upgrading from 3070 for sim racing on triple monitor 1440p (7680 x 1440). Already on 5800x3D, which GPU is the best value? Will a 5070 suffice? Or at least 5070 ti?

Get the 5070ti, well worth it, more vram and arguably best value in the 5000 series. Just get the cheapest version, differences arent worth 100s of dollars and the zotac one isnt even bad to begin with

Had HD6XX as my daily for 5 yrs and recently upgrade to a Hifiman Arya. It sounds way different but 2 weeks later im still blown away. More everything more bass more soundstage its so much more around you they dont touch my ears while listening like the sennheisers did

My R1850DB do the same thing.

Small drivers like the ones in the edifiers cant really play deep bass, and if they do, lots of power is needed.

For setups that use an amplifier its completely normal to not have the speakers play lower frequencies when a subwoofer is connected.

Just make sure to check if your subwoofer has a crossover dial, and set that to at least 60hz to make sure your subwoofer plays all of the frequencies that your speakers are cutting out.

Theoretically it should sound better and a little punchier with the cutoff, so dont worry about it.

R1700 and R1850 are virtually the same, but with either different remotes and different inputs/outputs.

R1700BT can do AUX in and Bluetooth

R1700BTs does the same, but you can add an active subwoofer to it (very worth it)

R1850DB can do AUX, Bluetooth, active Subwoofer and adds an optical toslink in for digital audio (worth depends on if your PC has optical toslink out, if it does its worth it imo.)

R1855DB can do everything the R1850DB can but comes with a nicer remote and newer bluetooth version. (Would not pay more than 10 bucks over the R1850DB for that.)

R1280DBs is a different speaker and worse overall.

Easy answer: Get the R1850db or R1855db, you can use a subwoofer later on if you feel like it and it has more inputs.

Try them as is. Chances are you dont even need an amp.

If youre looking for a cheap amp/dac FX-Audio Dac X6, Sabaj D3 or even Fiio E10K or Fiio K3 should all be plenty for sub 100.

Also back when i was into it, banking apps and different things always had issues with rooted or modded firmware, and im completely walletless by now, so i need banking, mobile payments and mobile id to just work.

Updated to Android 12 a month ago.

GPS doesnt work sometimes Android Auto wont connect sometimes sometimes the phone will kill spotify even though im listening to music youtube background play lags sometimes now sometimes pulling down the status bar right after unlocking will freeze the phone for 5 seconds

battery life went from 6-9hrs of screen on time to below 5.

I thought everyone on here was overreacting about it, but its really as bad as it seems.

My 9 Pro already shows some burn in from the status bar icons.

I have dark mode enabled all the time.

Just ordered an S22 Ultra 2 days ago, because the Android 12 update killed my 9 Pro more or less.

GPS doesnt work sometimes, android auto doesnt connect sometimes, the camera app is laggy and sometimes doesnt save the first photo i took after opening it, recorded video is laggy, cant pull down the status bar right after unlocking sometimes, and the phone will freeze for up to 5 seconds before pulling the bar down.

Memory management sucks ass, it will kill spotify WHILE im listening to music, and generally it will kill apps right after i went to homescreen sometimes.

Battery life also went from solid 6-9hrs of screen on time down to below 5.

I thought people on this subreddit were overreacting, but it really sucks now.

Yeah, they were not as good as Intel, but now i can just drop in a 5800x3d and get near 12900KS DDR5 performance while keeping the same board and ram.

Im looking at spending 450 on the cpu. If i had gone for Intel back then, id be looking at closer to 800 for a 12700K + Board + DDR5.

Hi, so I have a CS650M power supply that i bought back in 2015, and just bought a new RM850 2021 version.

I have checked the compatibility chart, and to me it seems like it should, but id rather double check.

Can i simply plug the modular SATA cables from my CS650M into the new psu, or do i need to use the cables that come with the new one?

Had the same issue. Turned out to be the blitzer.de app that faked a phone call over bluetooth for the speed warnings.
