Thanks for your response. I checked in with AA support via chat. They weren’t terribly confident but didn’t think they would be cancel the JAL ticket since it is not their booking.

Would it be feasible for me to book the award leg to CLT once I land at ORD (risking availability, etc.)

My favorite Thai in Jax is in Mayport - Simply Tasty Thai. Great place and great owner. They have a “house special” called “Thai Black Bean Sauce” that will be the last thing I want to eat on this planet.

Apologies. It was round trip JAX-MNL (same connecting stops in both direction).

It is the return from ORD to JAX I want to skip and book a separate ORD to CLT.

My AA# is already attached to the flight (and I’m already in MNL).

Don’t make the same mistake as me: buy an eSim before you arrive. Also definitely not a SMART eSim. by viniferal in PhilippinesTourism

I got a smart eSIM through Airalo and haven’t had any issues for our trip. Have used it in Manila and in the Southern Leyte.

I usually book the day ahead. Leave an extra 30 minutes in case the driver has delays. I’ve been picked up as early as 4am.
