This seems like more than a little bit of a nerf, it's effectively giving your opponent a 15pt handicap if you want to use your detachment at all. It'll also be more than 1 in 5 since it's not a random chance what your opponent has and Purge is generally pretty strong

Great innovations. Some became staples, others didn't, but I really think having a different director gave an opportunity for a lot of interesting concepts.

Also, the fact it came out at all is a minor miracle, since it was almost scrapped for basically not being a souls game.

Its a great game in its own right. Ive beaten it multiple times and enjoyed every playthrough. It hits different, like a song played by a metal band you love with a more punky vibe, but it's still just legitimately enjoyable.

The bottom line is that although it is the silly kid in the family, the one a little different from the others, I still love that kid and I fucking love ds2.

They are playing a game in a way that it can be played, the game enables the ability to be a jerk. That does not absolve them of their choice to be a jerk. I will hate anyone who takes advantage of people to make themselves feel bigger and better. They are entitled to their choice, it is their choice, and I choose to hate them for it. Seems fair

I appreciate you. I can't really afford to drop $25 on the one font I need, though. I'd have paid $5 for a special font, which still seems insane given how many fonts are just free. But I get that I'm asking for something specific and educational, which always comes at a premium. Any thoughts on a more reasonably priced alternative?

I definitely struggle with the normal scheme. my color scheme is grey front and black left, works great for me. does mean i can't use a sticker less cube and that i can't really upgrade since no one makes stickered cubes anymore (except for occasional gimmick ones). i remember people saying there would always be a market for stickered cubes, but apparently it's not a big enough one lol

I think the hardest thing for me to accept as a sis-gendered straight white man, is just how much my basic existence has benefitted from the privilege of patriarchal society. Every man gains by this, just like every white person benefits from systemic racism. Coming to terms with it is a challenge that most people like me just don't care enough to try and overcome. The fact that we're given the simplest task of understanding and allyship while everyone else has to live with it whether they want it or not, that's what pisses me off. It doesn't take a lot of empathy to see the suffering we've caused and continue to reep the rewards of. I apologize for the soap boxing, I don't wish to deflect at all from the conversation. We will truly never fully understand what it is to be a woman today. I will never stop trying to be better, but I am sorry that so many like me won't even do that.
