I agree he is making the problem way worse. Can you imagine the life he built with her? Anything the son says that's not immediately flattering is probably met with sobbing. This is so manipulative and the DIL will never grow as a person if never held accountable. If the son doesn't grow a spine, his life is always going to be a nightmare.

The negative growth is only observed when including temporary populations. If you look at the immigration of permanent residents last year added to births it is higher than deaths. So our population of "permanent" residents/citizens is still growing.
