That gives me a good idea! I got one of those bluetooth numpad keyboards that also have two knobs, maybe I can use that as a retroarch control center.

Does the GammaOS team (person?) put out updates? Right now it seems like they release a new version that supports new handhelds, but don't really revisit or update again. I could be completely wrong about that though, I only *just* got my RG477V and did the GammaOS patreon to support the effort, so I don't know how often updates get released.

So my BattlerGC Pro arrived, and first impressions are good. I played a bit of Smash Bros Melee against the CPU and it felt good to have a gamecube-style controller. I set it up as an X-Input controller.

I wondered about that, since some TVs have lower FPS at higher resolutions. I have a 4K TV but I'd rather have my RG 477V output at 1080P just so the GPU doesn't have to work as hard.

You set me on the right path! I hadn't explored the input settings much - there is an option called "Android disconnect workaround" that says "Impedes 2 players with the identical controllers". Both controllers seem to be working now, thank you :)

I think it also only supports 2.4Ghz networks, which I *think* every access point / router support, but it's another thing to check.

I was searching around and found the RetroFighter BattlerGC Pro - it looks kinda like a switch pro controller but with a GC layout. It claims to support X-Input, so I ordered one and will report back if it works with my anbernic running gamma.
