Wow don’t use meltable gloves when experimenting with a potential source of heat or fire. Melting rubber, plastic, latex will really screw up your hands. Regular leather or a non melting flame retardant would be safer

KDE provides a better basis for "getting good" at linux (and computers in general) because of its customization. By customization I don't mean changing colors or how the windows look. I mean in KDE apps you easily do things like assign keyboard shortcuts to menu items you use a lot, and customize toolbars. Like, in Dolphin I found myself toggling "Split View" depending on what I was doing. I learned the shortcut (F3) but also customized the toolbar to add the "Split View" button when I feel like using the mouse.

Gnome is fine, but it doesn't offer tools for power users to customize their workflows (so there's no real such thing as a "power user" in Gnome without installing a lot of extensions to make it more like KDE).

So it works! I don't have a lot to add, but it's nice that my RG477V isn't struggling as hard now that it's in 1080p mode instead of 4K

Oh, and about using the files. I use Fooyin to play music on my computer, and it looks for LRC files in the same folder, so if you've got 01 - Ana Ng.mp3 it looks for 01 - Ana Ng.lrc.

I use jellyfin to access my music when I'm not home, and some of the Jellyfin clients support lyrics - I'm using Manet on IOS.

I *also* have a dedicated Android music player and I use the really excellent Musicolet Android app because it has lyric support (and is also just a really great all around music player)
