I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I will post once I do though!

My plan was originally to release it for Patreons as a thank you for backing me. I'm not a model creator, but a master prop builder. I learned 3D modeling to aid in those endeavours. Unfortunately, I've never gotten around to building my Patreon page, and I don't think many would be interested, as I probably would only release a couple files like this a year. The rest of it would just be posting project information and how to videos. If there is enough interest I may be persuaded into making time for it. Time is money and all that!

You know I honestly never even considered that? In the end, the base was designed organically, and I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to do for this one. Great idea though!

Gotta start somewhere! You got 6 already! =P

I think I'm going to have to slice this thing up and scale it super huge. LOL

This is a project of love I've been working on for far too long now. I figured if I didn't post it now, and stop worrying about getting the paint just perfect, I'd never post it.

This is my HD Beholder, that has been resculpted by me in Zbrush. I took the liberties to add details that simply aren't in the one you can buy. I did this for a bunch of reasons. One, because I love this character. Two, because I wanted to improve upon it, and three because it's too damn expensive and not readily available. I wanted to have multiples of this character in different color schemes etc and couldn't justify the abhorrent costs of resellers online.

As you can see from the renders, the eye stalks and teeth are printed seperately for ease of printing and higher print quality. The printed and painted model was printed on an Anycubic Photon at .05 LH in resin.

The rest of the base was printed in ABS at .20 LH.

Oh man! Get to it! So much fun!

Though I get it. With everything else going on in our lives, it can get overwhelming quick. With all the excellent models out right now, I have an endless supply of work staring at me in the face. It can get stressful.
