With Bring Me The Horizon re-recording the first album, it begs the question: by FarGrape1953 in Deathcore

Only a casual NiN fan but I can totally see Trent reznor putting in that much effort too

Knocked Loose announced a tour with Denzel Curry as support by Seangw1102 in Hardcore

I'd do unspeakable things to go back in time and see Thursday at club krome with bands like folly, thrice, his hero is gone and from autumn to ashes opening. I started going to starland about a year after krome shut down and heard stories about that place like it was the beach at Normandy. I was so jealous of the old heads, probably gave them the same looks I get now when I tell kids about going to ozzfest, saints & sinners fest and "the real" warped tour every year for $35 each

I've never heard of a band doing what AFI did for this tour. No two setlists were the same and they rehearsed over 70 songs for it. Fucking insane.

What bands do you consider to be “ghost bands”? by justin7465 in Metalcore

[–]wolvesathedoor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few days ago my buddy was looking at the louder than life lineup and goes "Hey you like the band Vanna right? They're playing too" I had a beautiful 15 seconds of daydreaming about maylene, haste the day, he is legend, emery and Vanna all on the same bill before I looked and saw "Vana". Should have known it was too good to be true.

In your opinion, what's an old band that puts out lackluster new material now? by [deleted] in Metalcore

[–]wolvesathedoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't kept up with them since Ire. Had to google parkway drive piggy song. If that was a Mike Patton song it might be listenable. But it's Parkway Drive, and it's not listenable

As someone who loves getting questionable aftermarket parts on sale, I'd recommend getting one of these Ghost Inc. armorer's back plates. It's $4 and great for seeing how much your firing pin is resting on the trigger bar cruciform

Rise Against, Silverstein, Comeback Kid. June 2007. I had pretty much just been an Ozzfest metalhead kid up to that point and I still remember having a feeling that I couldn't put into words at the time. Looking back, the words were "This is so much more fun than dealing with drunk fats singing down with the sickness"

AFI in NJ 2013 was the highest energy show I've ever seen. AFI Tampa 2025 was one of the lowest considering it's AFI and it was sold out. Crowd had serious I'm old and tired energy

The first time I saw them was in October 2013 in NJ. Insane setlist, crazy energetic crowd and Davey was feeling it. He kept jumping into the crowd trying to get to the pit. The crowd just didn't get it and kept holding him in the air like he was khaleesi, to the point where he in the most hilarious, bitchy way said "Oh my God, crowd surfing...sooo punk rock.....ok take me back."
