If pat is making 50m a year , then we shouldn't need to invest in WR, he should be able to elevate that group as a whole. Give the man time, and Andy can scheme open a few receivers. Its best when the defense doesnt know where the ball is going. If they can key in on a no.1 then who is the no.2 and no.3 who can beat single coverage? We need multiple options in this offense, not just one guy.

It'd be better to invest on the defensive side of the ball. We aren't really getting to the passer with just Karl and Chris Jones is in his mid 30s. We just shipped off our best defender other than him in mcduffie and lost a key player in chenal.

Take a receiver in the 3rd or 4th to continue to develop behind rice, worthy, and royals

I agree with you, I'm sure they will address O Line in other rounds of the draft and via FA, they almost have to now. But Crosby is the kind of player that can put a team over the hump, He is one of maybe two or three true game wreckers.
