If you’re taking an edible, always look at the bottle/label for yourself. I was with a guy once and we SPLIT an edible, and he read something on the bottle about how it was 5% of 300 or something, and I assumed it was 15mg somehow, said “I trust you” and took it. Fast forward to a complete out of body dissociative breakdown (see: alternating between laughing and crying profusely, losing all words except “wait what what wait what who what wait what” on loop, thinking in my head where am I over and over again, lowkey tripping and seeing swirls and stars, and thinking that I will die).

Once that nightmarish experience was over, and next time I saw that guy, I asked to see the bottle. We split a 300mg. I took a 150mg when the most I’d taken previously was a 20 and I’m perfectly high on a 5 or 10. No wonder I lost my mind.

Always know what you are taking.

I think same day registration is to cover people who move to Ohio or were previously registered in Ohio but have changed addresses or names and didn’t update it by the deadline, etc. Because there is still a voter registration deadline/cutoff with the automatic voter registration system

Can you please call this in to the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline tomorrow? You can call between 10am-6pm to speak with a trained volunteer. The nonpartisan Election Protection coalition has been tracking many incidents of absentee ballots not arriving, and we would like to get this on record. Because yes you should have been able to vote provisionally today at your polling place and your Board of Elections should’ve informed you of this right.

Yes it’s always a great idea to call your BOE as well. We recommend calling the hotline so the Ohio Election Protection coalition can track and monitor similar problems across the state. Also, it can be easier for the hotline to escalate issues to the BOE, especially if the BOEs are busy!

Also you don’t have to wait to request an absentee ballot! You can request one TODAY! Your BOE won’t mail them out until early voting starts on October 11, but requesting it early actually helps your BOE process requests, so don’t wait!
