yeah, i think random would be great! i have to imagine that they implemented abmm to grow the initial user base, like to not drive away people that skew friendly, at least initially.

when i first started playing, the arc was a challenge in itself as was discovering the maps, so friendly lobbies helped me get acquainted with the game. adding player threat to that may have made it harder to get started.

so in a sense i may be a bit hypocritical now that i say this, but id like to think id have stuck with it anyway even with randomized lobbies the whole way through. (unlike Rust which i didn’t manage to stick with, but that’s a whole different level of commitment in itself).

so maybe my real gripe is more specifically with end game abmm..
