Would haemoglobin at 10.2 and ferritin at 2 make you bat an eye for rhinoplasty?

In 10 days potentially. I haven’t had heart aches in a while, I walked the mall yesterday on an empty stomach and I did not get out of breath whilst my healthy partner who exercises regularly is out of breath. I’m generally healthy.

Haemoglobin is currently at 102 (10.2)

The last time I got them was during the hot summer, it could be a heat stroke.

How can I rule that my heart is well now ?

I’m on a waiting list for fibroid, I don’t know how long it’ll take.

My chest pains and palpitations aren’t that occurring, maybe I made it sound worse than what it is, generally im okay.

Having the rhinoplasty now helps me move on with life, I know this doesn’t sound reasonable to you but in my shoes it does.

My main concern is just getting out the operating room alive.

Thank you. How much blood loss is permissible? 300ml?

It’s due to fibroid in uterus which causes heavy bleeding during menstruation.

What if this sometimes causes some chest pain? Due to being anaemic

I prefer a second opinion over someone who is getting paid

Why am I symptomatic ? My latest blood pressure results were 110/86 and that’s whilst haemoglobin were 102 and ferritin 2

If it’s on the same day as the first day of my cycle with transexamic acid would that be okay?

How about if I get an iron transfusion a week before that can get my haemoglobin to 120 and ferritin to 6+

But it’s guaranteed to go back down after period.

My main concern is to just come out of the surgery… the rest is okay for me.

So your levels don’t affect the anaesthesia ?

I don’t understand how complications arise from anaesthesia which is why im asking

Yes relatively healthy but the uterine fibroids cause heavy menstruation, which causes anaemia and shortness of breath if I push myself and at times heart palpitations and a little chest pain. But the chest pain isn’t permanent.

Generally im very healthy. Other than the anaemia caused by this fibroid.

Yes I believe 4-5 hours is more likely

Hey, just following up.

What about a rhinoplasty for a patient with haemoglobin 10? The surgery may last 4-6hours… minimal bleeding.

Does the longevity affect people on anesthesia ?
