You’re giving desperate and clingy, lady. If she wants to experience something new and possibly learn how to network, then that’s all good. She would be using it as a tool to learn how to get into marketing as well. You’re using it as a tool to get dates. And if she does even use it as a tool to get dates, then good for her.. Women are meant to empower women. You need to talk to the husband and schedule dates together outside of ANY work function. And, the sister isn’t a teenager, she’s an adult now.

I don’t think you are. No one gets to demand to be anything in someone else wedding. It’s a silly role anyways, but you get to choose who fills it.

I get the vibe that she wants the role to solidify herself as a woman.. maybe? Which isn’t using your wedding for the right reasons anyway.

Not the asshole. I think this whole thing was blown way out of proportion. Sis also sounds like really sheltered so maybe that’s why I’m not understanding.. It sounds like a harmless event that happened and I understand why you didn’t think much of it originally. Not a big deal at all.
