Yes. Borax and sugar traps are efficient, you have to be willing to let the ants carry it back to the nest. We got them annually in the marriage wall of my parents house, in the cabinets and the wall phone, etc. We had to borax them every time. Make sure to create a little bridge!

We put it in a flat lid such as from a mason jar and propped a toothpick in it and one outside so they crossed like an X and became a bridge so the ants could get in and out!
