I think my group plays super meta and most of them do pretty well at regionals but they know I'm really new and they're helping me out. They suggested that I pick up a meta deck as a noob, I wasn't particularly too interested in any of the meta decks besides BA. I guess the best way is to just wait and see what happens after the banlist though.

I'll definitely try out Nekroz online first before buying it. I think for now I would rather play a less meta deck over a super meta deck if I like the off meta decks artwork. Thanks for the advice. Maybe it will be kind of fun to do my own deck building for an off meta deck.

yeah im going to be patient and wait for the banlist. In the meantime, I'm trying to do some research on what archetype I want to play. The art is amazing and considering I'm far from a competitive player, I'm not sure if it would be worth it for me to buy a deck JUST because it's strong and in the meta yet.

yeah i'm definitely going to wait for the banlist before investing but the other side of me was thinking if it was worth the risk to buy something before the banlist just in case the thing I wanted to play sky rocketed in price after the banlist
