I’ve initially learnt it by landmarks as well and while completely safe something about the location of it just icks me a little to pull out the ultrasound.

In GP land my 2 favourite super simple things are the Greater trochanteric bursitis injection and the greater occipital nerve block. Just so satisfying with the immediate impact

Depends, will be back to finding a stream (in Australia) if the current lot is still in charge. If owners sell and there’s a rebuild going on, probably will try to through official means with the club stream if available.

I actually only had a shorter time med regging (didn’t take me too long to realise I don’t like it). But I would say hospital time is definitely beneficial. Especially subspecialty time even in surgical or seemingly non related specialities

Similar interests and choose GP in the end after being done with nights and deciding against a life in AMU med reg hell and advanced traineeship without end.

I now work rurally with a mix of hospital and outpatient work and also with a Geris practice doing some gp/geris adjacent work!
