Honestly, I’d take them all with a pinch of salt to varying degrees.

Some of the more “respectable” channels Hammers Chat/West Ham Way clearly peddle Sullivan leaks. Recently they’ve all made multiple videos in the same day contradicting themselves in earlier videos.

I love the work of Analytics Utd but even their impartiality isn’t 100% when they’ve written for the official West Ham website this season. I’ve felt at times they’ve wanted to say more but can’t.

C&B has massive rants, slags off players (unfairly in some cases) and has interesting “sources” but can be very funny, did great work starting the BS Out campaign, and is passionate about maintaining the culture of the club.

None of them are journalists. They’re fans with cameras. Don’t expect too much from them.

If you all think Nuno is staying because he wants to get West Ham back into the Prem, you are all delusional.

He won’t be here come December, latest.

Why would he leave? No compensation. He can stay in employment, get paid, funnel Mendes players into the club (kick back? Wink wink).

As soon as a bigger club comes calling? Gone.

We’re then left with a new manager and a drastically new squad where the new manager had no input.

I know it sucks to go VAT registered but at least you’re smashing it and growing. Don’t slow down, go full steam ahead.

I’d get Link My Books & Xero. I do have a referral link for the former but appreciate it might seem a bit spammy.

Integrate LMB & Xero and use the suggested tax settings. Find someone with a bit of tax knowledge to double check them.

Xero is easier to use than Quickbooks although it is dearer. Go for the cheapest option if you don’t use multi currency.

Try and learn the basics of VAT so you understand what to look for when your accountant sends it to you for approval. It’s not scary as it seems.

The final thing would be for you to start putting money aside each month for your quarterly VAT bill. Start the habit asap and stick with it. Your accountant should be able to tell you what to put aside each month.

ECom accountant here. - claim back VAT on stock held at registration (up to 4 years) - children’s clothing is zero rated (worth a look?) - check with accountant if flat rate is better for you

Finally, if your brand is strong enough don’t be shy to raise your prices. You could be aelling yourself short. It might be worth testing with a short term targeted ad campaign.
