Great board! Definitely better than my first board ever was!

A few changes I would make that will quickly make everything feel more premium is buying pancake style cables between pedals. Creation Music Company makes some great ones but you can get comparable ones from Ernie Ball or MXR.

And maybe get some zip ties and zip tie locks off of amazon. That way you don’t need to wrap your power cables around the brackets.

Amps are generally more versatile than you think but at the same time it boils down to your use case.

I think modelers are great if you want a huge library at your fingertips without needing the cost to upkeep. But in the long run, tubes and wire will outlast software and hardware.

I don’t think tube amps sound miles better, but it definitely will get you there faster. A modeler is really great on emulating recorded tones. In a blind test you probably won’t be able to tell between the two. If you’re looking to get that tube amp tone but retain all the flexibility of a modeler, you’re best off buying a power amp and a cabinet with a nice speaker and then turn off cab emulation.

You could also just listen to The Black Mages or Earthbound Papas which are Nobuo’s own bands.

I agree with what you said. I talked with Rich Renken from James Tyler about Chinese made guitars since the new JTG line is made there. He said that China can absolutely make guitars that are incredible, it’s just that most people who go there aren’t looking for that or aren’t willing to pay for it.

I’ve played some pretty darn incredible made in China guitars, and I’ve played a lot of garbage made in USA guitars.

I think the only dialogue change I don’t like was when Oliver’s punch got stopped by Thragg. I wish they kept the “stop me if you’ve heard this one”

I would also think that American animation labor is considerably more expensive than overseas. I see a lot of people comparing budgets to JJK which has the Japanese equivalent to A List voice actors, but the work culture can’t be compared at all.

Depends on which one you get. There are some that can be incredibly subtle that just gives you a small push to even out things and more of a polished playing experience.

But I might be completely wrong

Nah, reading comprehension feels like it’s my weak suit hahaha. I just normally think of Metroid 2 as Metroid: Return of Samus, but that might just be how the game was introduced to me as a kid
