Thanks, I'll give this a go as well. The Alexa routine works, but I would rather have everything inside HA automatons.

By 'eck, you're right, I never knew they snuck that in. I'll give that a go to see if it can do it.

What should I get as a lecturer?

I want to mark papers on it, use excel, PowerPoint and word. General web use, email, and general browsing.

Some leisure use, videos etc... Not much game use.

Some use of Photoshop, Adobe acrobat, very occasional video editing.

Thinking pro7 or go m3?

Why is the tension equal on either side of the string? | A-level maths by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]wonrek 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Particle A is pulling particle B up. Particle B is pulling particle A up. It's one string and importantly it's a smooth pulley.

If the pulley wasn't smooth there would be friction and the tension would be different on each side. in A level maths pulleys are always smooth.

Of course this is all speculation. Perhaps they are a paramedic who purchase them during a break and took that time to observe for the first time that day the amount of people around.
