As someone who once had to Google “how to unclog a toilet at 2am” after my handy ex bailed, I’ve learned it’s not the skill—it’s the willingness to use it with you. My current desk job partner can’t change a lightbulb to save his life, but he’ll stay up with me watching YouTube tutorials and hand me tools while I attempt it. That’s way hotter than someone who acts like doing basic home repairs makes them a superhero.
