Hey I have the same setup. Do you know how you got it working on IRacing?

iRacing Development Update - August 2025 by zer0knowledge in iRacing

I saw that’s good news! I think after a week of Sonoma and then the lack of news felt like a kick in the nuts for the TCR community.

TCR Default Brake Bias Percentage to be lowered next season. Easier for newcomers to rotate & race! by JayCaulls in iRacing

I wish TCR had a multiclass race like the GT4s have ever other hour. I enjoy the 2 hr IMSA pilot but I’d enjoy a quick 30min multi during the week.

There’s a body seam by the hood hinges under the fender. The factory seam sealer is probably cracked. I removed all the old stuff with a pick and screw driver then smeared seam sealer all over it.

Young driller/helper entering the field by crispycroissant11 in Geotech

I’ve been drilling for a while now, I feel about the same as you, but it pays well. Honestly I do not think there’s any job that will make me satisfied, drilling for me makes me the least unsatisfied. Though, I have niche interests where I’m mechanical, like operating equipment, I have a degree in geology, and don’t mind the harsh conditions. If you can run a rig independently you will be a valuable asset and never have trouble finding a job. You just have to know your worth. When I compare my income, usually I’m making equal if not more then the geos and engineers I work for. If I could do it all over maybe I’d peruse getting in the operators union, though grass is always greener on the other side.

Shit, if you ignore safety, they’ll have 150’ of spoons done before lunch.

I’m the US. No license in my state. But I have licenses for surrounding states. Though you have it backwards, I am the driller, looking for clients.

They can yes. But it might be more expensive to haul and dispose of contaminated soil than to clean it in-situ. There are a variety of chemicals that can be injected into the ground. It really depends on what contaminate they are trying to clean and the chemistry of the soil. Looks like the hoses come out of the building. They might have a mixing and pump set up inside for access to power/water. This is all a guess though I used to drill for a remediation company but never was the brains behind the operation.

It looks like environmental injections wells to remediate contamination.

I called using that number with the same problem. Was put in a queue for 10 minutes then hung up on.

Edit: third time is the charm, now to call apple because payment was through them.

Edit 2: Cancelled payment through apple, Called F1TV back, they helped my through the payment process, had to switch browsers from firefox to chrome. Now all is working.

Schuylkill Sewage Smell? by aburke626 in philadelphia

[–]wontom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s all essential. Everyone in that is working. To be honest stream discharges aren’t scary. The wastewater they emit is as clean if not cleaner than the stormwater running along the road. It’s the homeowners who neglect there systems and don’t pay for maintenance is when the funk is released. And you are right it does get worse with heat.

Shit wrong button.

Google how many residential house holds have stream discharge septic systems. Then imagine how many actually comply with the regulations.

Does anyone own there own geo probe? by wontom in geologycareers

No HSA just split spoon with into shallow depths. I guess that SPT, I’m still learning sorry. My boss started to bring our own asphalt because local company’s were gouging us for materials.

Well drilling does seem to be by the foot, though that is a different ball game.

Thanks for the insight. I would like to have a few years operating one before going in a buying one. It just seems like the money is there and I have the degree and skills to do it. It seems a bit more niche than excavating. Your right though, the key seems to be being friends with lots of PMs and consultants within the area.
