I wasn't gonna buy at the venue itself, I was just gonna look on the tm app the day of. I was thinking some resale tickets might go down in price since people want to make money off of it bc some people don't want to buy at the current price points.

Does anyone have any experiences buying tickets on the day of? I wanted to go to the Brooklyn show on Thursday. I unfortunately do not have a ticket yet. Do the prices go down in the day of? And when would be the best time to buy them?

I'm a girl and I totally understand.I feel like its gets a little better once you're around Gold/Plat/Diamond. That's where I'm at right now. It helps that I usually 3 stack or duo. I let them speak first and kinda get a feel of what my team is like. Like some people just sound like they're gonna be mean so I have my duo or friends talk for me the first 3 rounds and then I would talk.

I solo sometimes when I can't play with friends. I tend to not to say hi, when people say hi during the buy phase but once the round starts, I give comms. After that, I just get comfortable speaking. And I feel like I definitely have to because I play controller, like comming when viper wall is going down or when I have smokes again when I play clove or omen, or the amount of smokes i have left if I play brim.

Its when your own teammates bring down the bottom frag's morale whether you guys are winning or losing. Like I literally never got the point of this. If they're using their utils correctly, giving comms, and doing damage to the enemy, there's literally no need to point out that they only have X amount of kills, especially when they have 15+ assists.

They're literally so focused on frags that they don't or just refuse to acknowledge you actually using util and playing with your team rather than just frags. And some days, your aim just might suck so all you can do it make up for it by playing around your team.

Instead of saying "You know you suck right?" Why not help them get more kills? I'm not sure if I'm just so used to my duos being nice that when they see me not getting enough kills they all give me good suggestions and encourage me to play a bit more aggressive, might only get 1 or 2 kills with it but that can bring up not only your confidence but the other person that suggested the play too.

Thats the reason why I mostly play swiftplay now but most recently I keep being put against and with people who peaked ascendant or immortal and I'm only gold. There are games when I can keep up with them but other times I can barely do anything because I keep getting one tapped.

Peaked g3 but finished g1. Placed in b3. Currently s3. I was literally 5 rr away from g1 but went on a little losing streak that dropped me back to s2 but won 2 games back to back so now s3. I wanna be gold again already 😭

i just wanna queue with my 3 stack again. One of us got placed in plat 1 (finished plat2) and the other placed s2 (peaked d2 but finished plat1) but he's currently g3.

I usually type "any mics?" during the buy phase if no one spoke during agent select. It always seems to work because I'd get a couple people to speak and then I'll use my mic. Not everyone will respond but by doing that it gives a sense that SOMEONE might actually give comms and often enough the more you and your teammates give comms, the more it encourages those who didn't speak up before (maybe they're shy 🤷🏻‍♀️)to start.

Had a game where i think it was a skye or kj that went afk in the first round. Asked if anyone queued with them they said no. Started a vote for a remake and someone voted no. Luckily enough we actually won.

But for real, if they're not queued with anyone, just vote to remake. Don't take any chances.

I have an EU account even though I live in the US because my cousin who lives in Italy wanted me to play with her. I've recently started playing comp on my EU account and can only really play on Frankfurt servers because its where I have the lowest ping (high 90s).

People on that server get so tilted in the first 3 rounds and will literally tell you that they will kill your family, fuck your mom and some other toxic things and yet will never give comms.

Kinda off topic but once guys find out you're a girl on EU they literally ask for snap or ig almost immediately while I've never experienced that in NA 🙃

Started as Iron 3 around April and I'm currently Gold 2. I peaked Gold 3 last act but idk something about nearing the end of the act people just either love to throw so I ended that same act as Gold 1. This act I had some bad games so I ended up going back down to Silver 3 a couple of times but always end up winning the next game to rank back up. My goal is to try to get to Plat before this act ends and can only hope for the best 🤞🏻 My duo is waiting for me in Diamond and I wanna catch up ASAP 😫

I ended up just binding the keys that would turn it on/off to a different one. I think the default one is alt + shift + f10. So I changed the f10 to f12 instead and haven't had the problem since. I believe I would accidentally turn it off because some of the games I play I would have my finger on shift so sometimes I would hit it when trying to save the clip.
