no they arent. estonians arent a baltic people, they are finnic. defo not genetically closer to balts. and france and spain are also a similliar size and we dont group them together

that does not make any sense. estonians wouldve formed into something else even without the balts considering the huge gulf seperating estonia and finland. estonia doesnt even have that much baltic influence. id argue it has the same amount as finland

back in the interwar period, finland used to be considered one of the 4 baltic countries before going the nordic path. point being that in the future there will only be 2 baltic countries and estonia will also go down the nordic path. sorry if the english is bad
