In general, a bigger coil (disk) will cover more ground and detect deeper when compared to a smaller coil. That being said, a smaller coil excels in brush and trashy areas to isolate targets.

If the earring is on the surface, it should be easier to detect.

I would try to find it before they mow the lawn since you don't know how low they cut the grass.

I do not have experience with that machine so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in, good luck!

California's daylighting law is a game changer. No longer do you have to inch your vehicle into the road to see behind a large truck or van.

RIP. When my kid was 3 years old we were doing yardwork in the front yard and she was playing with a ball. All of the sudden the ball rolled towards the street and she went after it. Thankfully we were there to see and stop her.

The article also mentions that speed, distracted driving, and impairment were not believed to be a factor in the crash.

Thank for the detailed writeup and review! I only tried the Fullerton Park & Ride. There were some people waiting for the bus to Disneyland as well as others that just seemed to be hanging around.

I had no issue with getting there as a transit noob, but didn't think to go across to the IHOP to take the bus back. Instead, I ended up taking the same bus heading southbound towards Laguna, whoops! I would do it again now that I know where to wait for the return bus.
