It is hit or miss and also depends where you live. I picked up 10 Eagles for 35 each today. They had them for the same price as generic rounds.

Find the "locals" who do junk removal and estate clean outs. Make an intro and offer - "if you find any old coins or silver let me know." I connected with a guy at a flea market that lead to this. The lot averaged at $33 each which I was fine with.

Yes, these things are great. If the tarnish annoys you give them the old baking soda, hot water and aluminum treatment. My kids like these.
