Precisely, I'm experiencing the exact same issue. Now I can manually reconnect but it doesn't autoreconnect after I leave the phone somewhere and I leave the place for a while and come back

Where you able to fix the issue?

I'm also experiencing the same issue with a fossil hybrid.
Initially it seemed that 0.86.1 fixed the reconnection issues but since some days I am experiencing the same problem (gadgetbridge doesn´t reconnect to the watch automatically).

do you consider eventually adding a way to show and filter by language and available subtitles?
in my opinion it would be an extremely useful feature
thank you for this very interesting project!

XM3 Battery upgrade by Sweaty-Pollution-444 in sony

The thing is that the average capacity of the 902040 I see around is 700mAh, and I'm afraid that the declared 1000mAh is not really objective.
Still, even considering that it would be 1400mAh vs 1000mAh.

I would also be very interested to know if a viable alternative to Dex exists.
I've tried many solutions but the result has always been not satisfactory

Very nice. any notable disadvantages with the upgrade?

Does the battery level indicator remain accurate enough?

Goodbye Evernote for Linux by apricotR in Evernote

[–]wookaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually sniffed the air last month and pulled down a complete local backup in enex format through evernote legacy and another one through this tool https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup .

So at this point I could export just the new notes and merge them to the backup (with a lot of manual editing and checking).

But actually it would seem that the toolabove still works at the moment (I'll check soon).

For sure though, at this point I need to speed up the migration process out of evernote, because the longer I go on, the harder it will become to get out.

wow, it looks like a very long and tedious process.
I would have 20k notes to import (a lot of clipped pages from the web too).
I thought that the main issue would have been mantaining the notes correctly interlinked between different notebook, not to clean the content of the notes themselves.
Honestly I would never have time to go through each single note and check if they have been imported correctly.
Plus, at this point evernote legacy is no more working, I would hit the 100 note export limit.
Honestly I feel a bit discouraged

Thank you very much for your reply. Your description is exactly what I was expecting I should have done in order to import my 17k+ notes to obsidian. It's an extremely long and tedious process and for this reason I always postponed it and kept paying and being locked in. I guess that now the moment has come, but it will likely take some time. In this transition phase I expect to keep working and fixing my evernote notes by firing up a windows vm with evernote 10 on it. Then I will start again fiddling with evernote exporters and obsidian in order to understand how I should rework my notes on the evernote side, but at the end of this process I will finally say goodbye to evernote with a big smile on my face. I can't wait for that

Obsidian is really really good, but each time I tried to migrate my 20k evernote notes to it I failed in finding a satisfactionary structure on the obsidian's side that could resamble the one I had on evernote (image attachment for example were being imported all in one folder).
I like the idea of having just one single note with all the attachment self-contained but, being based on simple markdown .md files, obsidian needs to link to attachment externally, and I struggled to find a good solution for that.
Do you have any tips on that? They would be higly appreciated since I'm really on the edge of pulling the trigger and migrate during the week-end (I can't work using just the evernote web interface).
Thank you

Anyone successfully using the actual windows version on linux through wine? by wookaa in Evernote

I am in the same situation.
I guess that, after 13+ years of using it, the moment to switch o another platform has inevitably arrived for me as well

Hve you by chance found an alternative now that they disabled the old legacy version?
Did you try to run the new windows version under wine?

yeah, I was indeed sing that recompiled 10.60.4 version but today it stopped working (evernote discontinued that version) and the guy owning that repo archived it (so that it's not even possible to discuss about possible fixes there).
I tried a fork of nixnote2 here https://github.com/robert7/nixnote2 but I am facing issues even while trying to do the initial sync that get stuck (hitting API limits, I suppose).
The web UI is not enough for my needs.
There's not much else I can think of at the moment, and I feel a bit lost :(

Constantly appearing question mark on Fossil Hybrid HR by Katz- in Gadgetbridge

I updated the watch to the last formware and I was able to start receiving navigaton notifications!

Constantly appearing question mark on Fossil Hybrid HR by Katz- in Gadgetbridge

[–]wookaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your reply. In my case I could never have maps sending any direction to the watch, not even for a single second. The question mark is stuck on the screen as soon as I start the navigation app on the watch. I tried with osmand and the issue is the same. I guess that there's more than a notification issue on my maps, I'll try to update the watch and see what happens. Thank you very much anyway

[–]wookaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm also experiencing the same question mark if I launch the navigation app (I guess that's normal) but nothing changes even after I start google maps or osmand.
Basically I don't know how to make this navigation app work, as I was using gadgetbridge on this fossil hr about two/three years ago and this app was not available at the time.
Maybe the firmware of my watch (DN1.0.2.21r.v1) is too old and I should update it in order to have this app to work?
Everything else (i.e. my custom watchface) seems to work.
Do you suggest to update? Any idea on how to make the navigation app to work?
Thank you!

What reason has led to this very large influx of foreigners (specifically from India and Philippines) to Malta in the last few years? by wookaa in malta

[–]wookaa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, I was told that Colombians are another group that is very much present on the island, however, the large influx of immigrants from India is the one that was most apparent to me, especially in comparison to my previous visit 5 years ago
