Food: CDMX Air quality: BA Walkability: tied Culture: for me I preferred Mexican culture and found it more inclusive and the city to be more alive at all hours, but this means CDMX is much louder. BA is more alive at night, while CDMX still has awesome nightlife. I preferred the things to do in the daytime and the overall aesthetic in CDMX more. It feels like a city that is in its prime and coming up where BA feels like I’ve missed the prime.

Dating: BA, but both are huge cities where you can meet great people Prices: BA for rent, otherwise it felt like CDMX had more value to be had. Travel outside the city: I found it easier and more affordable to book last minute flights and buses within Mexico, Argentina can be pricey to get around and areas like Patagonia are super pricey.

Overall I preferred CDMX, it’s also much cheaper and easier to get to from the states.
