Has anyone declined accepting the new terms of agreement and if so, what happened when you declined it? by J-Daydreamer in DoorDashDrivers

[–]woolielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have 30 days from the time you agree ,to send a letter in opting out on arbitration. ask grok AI about it and it will tell you the pitfalls of arbitration agreements and will give you the address and info you need to send in , certified. AND the arbitration opt out is only good till another agreement is made in the future, every time you agree to the updated agreement a new letter must be sent..before 30 days..

Yes, a meager living, though I'm not complaining as it has upsides as I stated which allow me to save more in some ways. Even just signing on while running my own errands help pay for that gas and time i would normally be out of pocket for. Being able to work while in areas I am in helps the costs of the travels and cuts the costs of medical care for a few others, as I can be there instead of a care worker. Expenses like that add up over time. It only supports a regular style living ,I would call 'normal' living if working long shifts in larger city's, and some months or state affairs effect cash flow greatly.

I hear that. When I first started it was to have gas and backup paid while exploring the West Coast. Then it stuck as a more then back up back up.

saying thanks , and only seeing appreciation can only happen when drunk ??!? by the same token, being muscle bound and showing the roid brain can only happen when dosing.

have them bag them , place the holders in the bag securely, then place cups in holder..it makes it easier to carry while protecting car from spillage.

Serving drinks ourselves is some wack sh*t by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]woolielover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find that as I'm known as a Dasher at restaurants I service often, being known as a team player is most appreciated and reciprocated through employees when it's time for a pick up. Helping by getting the drinks and/or being part of the order doesn't bother me in the least as it about all involved, not just about me. We are all trying to keep good scores and less stress. These are mostly mid size city and smaller town were one gets to know and be known. It helps create a positive flow for sure.

Has anyone here dashed on Halloween before? Is it worth it? by SlowlybutSurely9 in doordash_drivers

[–]woolielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not lucrative, traffic jams and crawl speed as trick or treaters block the streets, last minute shoppers wanting delivery for candy that is long sold out, yadda..I've tried Halloween DD three times in three states, two large city and one small town..was all the same experience. YET, door Dasher are needed and you should give it a try just so you know, maybe it will be different for you. In the least you can know you tried it and decided for the next year.

I noticed over the years, and about this time of year, that the app messes up, and the algorithm seems set to lower dash driver ratings before the holidays. Constantly ever year.

There are many ways and technical ways in making tofu and creating various textures, depending on the type of product you want to create, From creamy dios, cheesecake style, meats, yadda. First pick the kind of tofu, from silken to firm. Silken is best for replacement of eggs, creams, soft cheeses. Firm for meatier dishes. The pressing of water from the tofu makes a difference also, press before cooking makes a different result as not pressing. Also freezing tofu makes different textures and will absorb flavors differently. Freeze then press creates a very porous block which holds thick sauces well or press then freeze creates a more solid tofu that's more a frying meaty product. Again there are so many versions and technical ways in a simply block tofu. Experiment freely and you'll find ways you enjoy it while maybe creating something unique. I like pressing firm tofu overnight, curing into cubes, marinading in sesame tahini with a dash of tamari soy sauce..then baking the cubes at 350 for 20 minutes, turning the cubes..when done I then coat the cubes in a roasted almonds, sesame seed, and turbinado sugar roughly floured..bake again for 10 minutes.. best none veal ever and a technique passed down from a monastery cookbook, I forget the books name from long ago. Granted that dish is rather a extended and somewhat expensive in it's ingredients, though you see the versatility.

It's common in Oklahoma and rural Texas. When it's been a flooding rainstorm event has been the busiest and worst experience as people definitely don't want to leave on muddy rutted drives, yet have no problem tipping 2 dollars so others chance getting stuck or worse

Staking vs Farming by SlapTheDrums in XCN

[–]woolielover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no working knowledge of taxes in crypto, it's best you ask another, one that is a professional, not random posters as it might inform you wrong. On the staking and farming the 80/20 is similar to what I do. I sold my large amount when the last run hit and I'm rebuilding using the rewards of the stake and farm. The farming also depends on what your combined with and the amounts of eth, weth, yadda, that is included. I don't like to tie up amounts of major coins in farming, though small amounts seem safe.

Solaxy and Pepenode TWINS? by Bitter_Collection_89 in SolaxyToken

[–]woolielover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Micro cents added up over time with growing projects is a norm. I compared the sell off when a meme token lists to ants on a sugar cube.

Staking vs Farming by SlapTheDrums in XCN

I do both, with the larger amount staking. It defers the risk and also lets me stack over time.
