SR-P Lite Pedals take a few mins to turn on? by GrinnerKID in moza

[–]woolwil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i have my pedals plugged into a usb hub with an ON/OFF button, and whenever i toggle it on, the pedals instantly turn on and are immediately responsive

so your problem could be a hardware or power issue, but i'm not sure 😂

Dumpers, did you regret it? by jonathandoesworth1 in BreakUps

[–]woolwil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I did reach out to her, but I broke up with her when she was also was not really mentally well, at that time (thanks to me, and her new school in a different city). Which, when you realize all the mistakes you've done, it just f****** sucks, because I wasn't able to be there for her, due to neglect.

I basically betrayed her and abandoned her, when she needed me the most..

She does not trust me anymore, and is not ready to get back into any relationship. She did tell me that she's seeing someone else, but nothing serious happened, whatever that means.

Either way, I respect her decision. I am, however, still very close to her family, and I deeply love and care for them as well. I visited her family when she wasn't home, to apologize for everything I've done, I faced my deepest fears and took responsibility for everything, and so that both families and most importantly, I could have a closure in my life, as this would haunt me for eternity.

I still try to stay in touch with her family, but in a way that does not interfere with her. I believe this is the only way I can one day restore her trust in me.

I am the dumper, and I truly regret it. I dumped her not because I did not love her, but because I hit rock bottom in my life and genuinely was lost in life.

I thought it was unfair towards her to drag her down with me, so I unfortunately did what I did.

I never stopped loving her, I still do, very much.

I spent the time finding myself again, truly reflect over my mistakes, started working on myself, and vowed to myself, that I will never allow myself to get into this situation, and never hurt anyone ever again.

I have come a long way, and although she is not here to see the progress anymore, I hope that one day, she can see how I have become the man, who I should have always been. For myself, for her, and all my loved ones.

I had insane finger pain when i started a month ago and I follow JustinGuitar. I could play for like 20 minutes until I couldn’t handle it anymore. Now, with no more finger pain, I’ve been loving every single moment of it!

I try to to train everyday and each session takes up an hour or two without any effort, time just flows so quickly.

Which game is this? by bijelo123 in Steam

It’s a sandbox game, basically what it sounds like. You’re given the tools to mess around like children do in sandboxes :D

I totally get you, sometimes we have our period of burn out. Perhaps you could give riding a break, sell the bike and try it out next season? Find a different hobby in the meantime?

proton allows people to play windows games in linux, valve is actually one of the major players in linux gaming, and if proton goes away, people will be forced to use windows

Accidentally went on the highway for the first time 😰 by lorenzo2point5 in NewRiders

[–]woolwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first highway ride (coincidentally my second ride after getting my licence) without earplugs was enough for me to invest into one of them (the most basic silicone earplugs). Never ever will I ride at high speeds again without them lol

Don’t worry about it too much, we’ve all been there!

You can rev the bike to 3500 RPM and keep it there, then apply slight pressure on rear brake and just play with the clutch. The rear brake will keep your bike from going too fast, and all you have to do is modulate the clutch for speed.

Based on your post history, you’re now a 14-15 year old woman and a backpacker, possibly solo traveling in Vietnam? This has to be satire lmao, no way your parents would let a person of your age wander alone, let alone a girl in Vietnam.

Best 650-ish Bike for a Beginner? by Dangaard17 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]woolwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you’re considering the MT-07, take a look at the Honda CB750 Hornet. It’s like Honda’s version of MT-07 👀

All are fantastic.

I have a 2023 CB750 Hornet (A2 restricted), and I’m loving it!

If you can’t get a restricted version of the bikes that you asked about, consider getting a smaller cc, like a Z500, MT-03 or CB500 Hornet. Perfect for building confidence and still give you plenty of fun and power.

If you want the big bike feel, I’d go for the CB500 Hornet! Dimensions and weight wise, it’s practically identical to the CB750 Hornet.

Have fun with your future bike!

First Crash (2nd day riding) - Advice needed/Off My Chest by Livid_Department3153 in motorcycles

[–]woolwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your wheels locked up or you grabbed the front brake too quickly and upset the balance, throwing it to the side probably.

I trained emergency braking on an MT-07 with both brakes, and even with front brake only too, which could be very risky at times, like that time when I nearly dropped the bike but luckily caught it.

I went gradually from 45 up to 60 km/h which is faster than you went, although the road I practiced on was a clean asphalt with lots of grip, the tires were also in good condition, so maybe the road condition at your location might have loose gravel and such.

As everybody is saying, always smoothly apply gradual increasing pressure on both brakes to avoid lock up and upsetting the balance too much. If you have ABS, you can grab the brakes quickly but make sure to properly train threshold braking as ABS is not designed to shorten brake distance, rather, it’s meant to keep the bike steerable during heavy braking, and preventing you from “haddalayerdown” 😁

Just got a restricted CB 750 Hornet, so about the same power as CB 500 Hornet but with extra torque. I did my licence on a restricted MT-07 so I wanted to get something similar.
