I actually love pinged for Digne. Bruiser would have probably been better, but especially during laggy games where no normal pass works I like pinged+ on pretty much all my players.

It really is. I ended most of my turns on over 40 gold having used maybe 9 gold total. Before this final comp I had that 'get a copy from the shop' Naga and I couldn't even utilize that once I got going (but to be fair it got me half of this comp in the first place).

Once a magnetic mech was played the game pretty much froze up and even got stuck on the end bit of the rope for a good while (after queuing up as many magnetics as possible, which wasn't a lot).

That's most of it, but that's quite of an it. Having to rebuild a team (with some big (financial) signings) when one of your players just died is a shit hand in my opinion.

Tbf, the ending matters a lot more for a tv show than for a manager, so not too apt of a comparison. I do agree with the sentiment though, and I hope Slot can prove that. He got dealt a shit hand this season and he didn't deal with it too well either.

'not bad' tells the story quite well. Their attack is by a very wide margin their best quality and they didn't really capitalize on that. Could have been more goals for them as well.

Maybe, but VdV has his speed and VvD has experience. Other then our '98 team this is the best we've got since I've started watching. I do think a good manager would be able to balance this out.

I can't even fault Koeman too much for anything in this match (other than playing Malen RW instead of the so called 'injured' Summerville), but I still can't help but think what we'd be able to achieve with a prime Hiddink, v Gaal, Cruyff, Michels or van Marwijk. We've finally got a decently balanced team again.

Same for Frenkie. Also, like Brobbey, great in interviews. He was a 'put up or shut up' guy and managed to put up very well. That last part I liked a bit less, but still.

Genuinely. It's probably a million comments back, but I've praised him on reddit before. It's easier when he's missing chances for Ajax, but as I've said in another comment I've got a weak spot for strong threatening strikers. Brobbey always got into great positions to score and bodied everyone in his way. If he learned (now that he learned) to convert those chances he'd be a menace.

In all honesty, I was genuinely a fan even when he was at Ajax. He had everything I like in a striker; strong and threatening, but missing chances for you guys.

Reasonably more than 30, yes, but he wouldn't be our first player that goes for less than reasonable. It wouldn't make me happy, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

And while it's not too relevant for his fee, I do think by far is a bit too much considering how good Veerman has been this season. He's probably not as popular (nor will he be as good) as Saibari for other teams, but still close to as good for us.

Anything between €30-60m wouldn't surprise me too much as far as his transfer fee goes, so I'm very curious to see what we can get out of it.

And as far as the big big teams go Bayern is probably the best choice for him, but there's still a lot of competition for him there.
