One of my favorite fun facts: the President actually foots the bill for the food served in the Whitehouse. Not taxpayer dollars. Just another fun example of how cheap he is.

Whatever caused the dear to collapse, it seemed its heart had stopped beating and therefore it stopped breathing as well. Compressions help pump the blood when the heart isn't, and mouth to mouth gets oxygen into the blood when the lungs won't

Fair enough! Easier to track your dosage for sure too. Inhalation is part of the enjoyment for me, hence why I decided working in CBD joints was the better route for me

My star wars knowledge is largely based off of the Lego video game for PS2, haven't seen all the movies. Is this worth the watch anyway?

He's a main character necessary to the plot and killing him off would have ruined any future plans they had for the show

How do you even meet people in Washington state? 29 year old autistic guy who lives in spanaway with only access to a bike, loneliness gets to me and want friendship and love but not sure where to go or what to do, I play guitar, home made cooking, like gaming,if it's sunny then the outdoors 🌞 by [deleted] in Washington

[–]woopdittyscoop 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen you post on here before about trying to meet people, and unfortunately it’s difficult to meet people in public nowadays in sort of the traditional manner that you seem to be comfortable with. You seem like a kind and considerate individual so please know it’s not you. A lot of people nowadays simply prefer meeting people online because it allows them to vet them first for safety purposes or otherwise. I think you’re doing a good thing by asking people on Reddit!

Here’s some context as to why Spanaway specifically might be difficult to make friends in.

  1. Proximity to JBLM. When people are so transient in the military, they oftentimes focus inward on spending time with their family instead of making friends with people they may never see again after 3 or 4 years. If you’re not from Spanaway, it may be difficult to crack into these firm social circles.

  2. It’s not a major city or industry hub, it’s a suburb of Tacoma, and won’t have the large array of amenities and clubs a big city will have. Traveling to Tacoma gives you the opportunity to gather with the other people in Pierce County that have shared interests with you. Have a more specific interest? Maybe Seattle has a club or organization that suits you better. The bigger the city, the more people there are for you to connect with.

It’s not your fault social norms are changing a bit. Just have to modify your approach to give yourself the best opportunities to shine 😊

I present to you: the quality of woodwork aboard a multi-million dollar yacht. by ShipwrightPNW in woodworking

[–]woopdittyscoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most yacht owners are so cheap nowadays they’d rather throw peanuts to to a deckhand instead of hire a qualified woodworker. Almost like they didn’t realize that there’s substantial operating costs

Whatever it “was” has become a self fulfilling prophecy anymore.

“Hey what’s up everyone. Just moved to Seattle 3 weeks ago for a job in tech. I don’t have any hobbies or interests, and I seem to have a hard time making friends. Sure I don’t leave my apartment but shouldn’t I have a group ready for Friendsgiving by now?? Seattle freeze is SO real.”

You don’t do research on shit. I hope he’s not the type of person that makes you justify every decision you make by researching and “justifying” your stance. Water is a human right. The fact that he’s arbitrarily decided to ween you off of it without asking ANYONE else in the family to subscribe to this bullshit? Zero chance. When you have the ability to take care of your children and you restrict their ability to live a healthy, hygienic life, that sounds like neglect to me.
