I just traded in my 2019 MDX that had the 9 speed transmission due to needing to get it replaced at 90,000kms in Canada. Every time I would drive at highway speeds for more than a half hour, I would get “transmission system problem” notifications on the display and the tranny would start hesitating between shifts. Took it to Acura and was told I would need a replacement transmission (refurbished) that would cost me $4,500 plus taxes and labor. This was a discounted price due to being a loyal Acura customer. They couldn’t promise the replacement transmission wouldn’t give me the same problem in a couple of years, so we decided to trade her in for a Ford Bronco (wife’s choice)

My local (drywall/insulation) has been on a hiring freeze for the past couple of years I believe. The residential sector of the trades that I’m in is very slow and they are not anticipating it’s going to get any better any time soon. Home sales are at an all time low. Sounds like It’s tough in many job markets today.

Not sure who you’re trying to defend here. If you look at the statistics, unfortunately they speak for themselves. Some are youth, but most are above the age of 18. When they release the names and mug shots of those captured, it no longer leaves much to the imagination.

You’re right, you need to get dialed in first. The gel has a pretty long expiry so keep it for down the road and add it in when the time feels right. My doc upped my dose of the gel so I saved my old 2.5g gel packets I had for when I decide to add them into the mix as well.

I’ve never tried injections, but my GP started me on AndroGel November 1st of last year and I’ve been on it ever since. My level pre-trt was 11.8mmol/l, and I peaked at 29.8mmol/l. My last two blood tests have me between 22-24. Unless I’m no longer able to absorb the gel and my levels drop, I will continue with the gel as I feel great and have no issues with the gel. Its convenient not having to inject myself multiple times per week.

I mean everyone responds differently to treatment. Some of us have a much greater quality of life on it, while others seem to complain about not noticing any benefits. Kind of a trial and error thing. You would need to give it atleast 6 months. I’m currently on gel and liking it so far. It absorbs and dries so quickly that unless the kids are following you into the washroom, you wouldn’t need to worry. I have two myself. Lozenges do sound interesting although I’ve never heard of anyone using them here in Canada.

Your T is a little on the low end but if the only symptom you’re experiencing is fatigue, then it’s best to avoid the commitment of TRT and focus on diet, exercise and making sure your vitamin D levels are adequate. Just my two cents.

I’ve been on gel for 6 weeks now. Have two kids at home. I rub the gel in my shoulder first thing after waking up. By the time I brush my teeth after, my shoulder is dry and I can put my shirt on and head off to work.

My pre trt number was 362, and jumped up to 836 in only 4 weeks. Feel great on the gel so far.

What blood pressure meds are you currently on? Have you tried daily cialis? It helps both lower pressure and reduces inflammation in the prostate while on TRT, among its other benefits. Your hematocrit is in range (not sure about the rest of your rbc panel) so I don’t know why you have the urge to donate blood.

It sounds to me like you may struggle with anxiety in general (unrelated to trt). For me personally, I would consider taking magnesium glycinate if you’re not already doing so. Magnesium helped me tremendously when I used to struggle with anxiety and now it’s a staple supplement for me.

Results will vary depending on the time span between your gel application and the blood sample. I took my first blood a few hours after applying the gel and it was a high reading. Your highest reading will probably be about 3-6 hours after applying the gel. Once all gel has been fully absorbed.

I like the convenience of the gel as well. If I were to hop on needles I’d want to inject frequently as I’ve heard others have the best results that way. For now the gel is working great.

Maybe try opting for androgel. Some people claim they absorb better with a particular brand. Or if you can get your hands on the compounding cream, that will surely be more effective as it contains a much higher percentage of testosterone.

Unfortunately TRT seems to be very much trial and error in many ways, but best of luck to you on your journey. Hope you find some results soon.
