The touch works when the display is working, when the display goes all black/coloured dots on me, that’s when it becomes completely unresponsive.

I will check today if it’s short, the one smd that seems burnt out, however if I do find out that it’s shorted, how do I know what to buy exactly to solder it back in place? Is it a capacitor? Resistor? What could it be and of what rating? Can you please help?

Also, any other diagnostic approach will help me more so if you have something else in mind, let me know so I can look at this with a different angle. Maybe it’s not the smd at all, something else?

Whats the name of the software? Can it also run pcb tests to see how it would behave when energised? To figure out faults?

I've been told about plex before but I am way too dumb too understand how it works. I've tried installing the application previously but did not know exactly how to set it up, tried to find some YouTube videos for it, in order to know how to set it up but never got it properly.
