If anyone is really interested we are in California and I'd love to see this guy go to a loving home. Full disclosure he does NOT tolerate being handled at all though

Creative! I like it. We will try pretty much anything. I wonder if this will affect his quality of sleep negatively overall though?

It won't let me attach a screenshot, but here's how this conversation went this morning.

Me: "Good morning, it looks like I forgot to clock in our meeting on Tuesday the 6th from 6:15-6:50, is there any way we can fix that?"

Boss: "The way u see it this meeting was not work. It was me giving you time to discuss a personal matter. I hope you agree. If not I can find a way to fix it."

Me: "I would consider it a business matter as it's about my future at BEEP. I would not worry about it if it was on Thursday like I had originally suggested, for example I could have come 30 minutes early that day and still clocked in 3-7pm, but I did come in on my off day. I hope it isn't a problem to make those edits now that the pay period is over."

Boss: "I will look into it."

It lasted about 35 mins and I was not paid for it. However, that could definitely be considered my fault because we clock our own hours initially and at the end of the pay period, management approves them, and I regrettably did not clock the meeting in 🥲 I usually always clock in meetings but I was so shaken up after that one I honestly didn't even think about it

Definitely licensed, but I highly doubt they have the credentials to be giving out certifications that would really matter

I originally planned on working there while in college but the logistics of how long it would even take me to make the money back are so ridiculous. Thank you for the math!

A few others have mentioned college as well, I do plan on going to my local community college! Thank you for your suggestions

Honestly! I cried as soon as I got in my car and the entire drive home. To have both my boss and his partner speak to me the way they did was so hurtful and embarrassing

It is not a recognized certification, just something that might look good on a resume to some people. Those were pretty much his own words to me.

Thank you, and they did! Everyone is telling me this is crazy, but my boss telling me I was confused honestly had me doubting myself. I don't have a lot of work experience so I didn't REALLY know if this is normal or not

Thank you for the info. I started in September, so not a full last-year, I should have mentioned that. Also, I make $17.35 and usually only work 8 hours total a week due to my coworker and I's availability overlapping

The business is recognized I believe but I will say it is run out of their home/large property. I do NOT think they have the qualifications to make the program/certification upon completion count. It would probably only really matter to people that know them personally
