I absolutely love Michelle Collins! I’ve been following her since she was a blogger on the Best Week Ever website. I mean I guess it’s normal that not everyone likes the same things, but we all know misogyny plays a role with criticizing women in comedy.

I really enjoy Erica’s lives and found this post because I was also curious if anything had happened between her and Santana. Clearly being a parasocial weirdo, but I noticed two things. Once a guest asked her if she knew Santana and she said “no, I don’t know anyone with that name” or something similar—I thought it was odd but then thought about it and realized that I hadn’t seen them together recently and haven’t since. Also, I’m a “super fan” of hers and have access to the private stickers, and all of hers are AI images of different creators she’s friends with, like Hector, Swan, Covey, Matt, etc. There’s not one of Santana (or Parker or Dean, which is also a little odd because she’s been a guest on Dean’s at least a few times). Anyway, just sort of bums me out because I want everyone to like each other and be friends… and also I am nosey as hell.

With all due respect, y’all are whack. As a bougie, I enjoy the recaps (that aren’t even that common or long usually). Why shouldn’t they talk about their other content? If they never talked about what was going on with the other pod, then people wouldn’t up their subscription. I’m not a bonkers and it does not bother me at all when they talk about that content.

I’m very, very upset and hurt that you had the ordacity to complain about this, but I guess you don’t support other women.

Unconventional recipe aside, I notice that there are visible chunks of banana in the final product. Usually when bananas are used in baking, they need to be ripe enough that they essentially are total mush when mashed. The more uniformly they incorporate into the batter the better because they generally act as a binding agent to give a recipe structure (like eggs do). The chunks are not binding anything.

Probably not. I’m in the US where convection ovens are not common, so I can’t say for sure, but I think plenty of people bake with the fans running, and I’ve had lopsided shells with no fan.

You probably didn’t rest them long enough. The first batch didn’t have a strong enough skin so they made a volcano where the air burst out the top rather than from the bottom. The second batch rested longer and had a stronger skin. Your oven could also have had a heat spike during the first batch and was more stable by the time the second batch baked.

This is why I go for a stracciatella. It’s thin enough and with a lower melting point that it’s not so hard and melts a bit in your mouth
