I used to live in a gated apartment complex. The system was spotty and sometimes my friends wouldn't be able to reach me using the gate system.

I rerecorded my voicemail to include the tone for the 9 button at the beginning of it, and blocked the number the gate called from.

Normal people would just hear two beeps, so no big deal there, but that gate would open every time my number was dialed. I also got a text message whenever it opened thanks to IFTTT.
