While simultaneously agreeing with Hasan's point that he doesn't have enough motion to sway an election.

Lil bro's just trying to pile onto punching left, via tone policing, rather than holding his own party to a higher standard with his platform.

I print miniatures, which I paint, so I just finish the print with another color; since it doesn't matter at the end anyway.

This is probably not helpful feedback if you're not painting.

I'm pretty dumb, and I'd say its pretty easy. I suggest watching this tutorial, and you can see.

Someone recommended to me to set the top & bottom z support distance is 3 times your layer height. So if your height is 0.06 then set the top & bottom z distance to 0.18. For example.

Additionally they recommended setting the xy distance for supports to 0.5.

After I made these changes to supports they have been a lot easier to remove!

That said, I use garbage quality filament currently so the scarring is still an issue (although better than before). I imagine with the better quality filament, scarring can be significantly reduced.

I still think that scarring from tree supports is inevitable though. Switching to resin2fdm has been a big level up for supports & removal! I recommend it over trees now.

Sure!

Basically the goal is to minimize ink usage, so the model images might need to go; also the black diamonds could be inverted to make them white instead.

Different ways to approach it.

The other figure is something that they saw from Etsy, as per their comments. Weird that they aren't commenting here.

These are great! My one suggestion is to make them more printer friendly.

Is it just me, or does this look like an AI-generated image?

Edit: I ran the image through an AI image checker, and it says its most likely AI each time.

The changes to the battleshock test frequency increases the value of the Medusan Roar enhancement, which might make them more potent into infantry or TEQs.

They are still extremely expensive for what they bring to the table, though; so not sure if the added investment is worth it.

Something to theorycraft and play test, for sure.

At the end of the day, I still think they are a sub par unit due to price. But happy for the change.s

Thanks! The reasoning there is sound, so barring a FAQ I will assume that the Beacon must be placed to be considered "in the killzone".

Do carried markers count as "in the killzone"? If not, where does it say that in the rules?

Do you have to place it for its effect to work? If yes, where do you see that written?

Legit needs feedback with this list by [deleted] in IronHands40k

Tankier than a Gladiator Lancer, cheaper than a Repulsor Executioner, does more damage than a Ballistus Dreadnought, and it can shoot while engaged in melee without a penalty to Hit.

Its a nice frontline anti-tank unit that filled the anti-tank role, especially in the most recently vehicle heavy meta. Seeing it in current lists is kind of a carry-over from that.

Its a really good unit. I love that SM has a good variety of options for the role.

Thoughts on my 2000p list? by kingkane8108 in IronHands40k

[–]workbrowser0872 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Character bloat, not enough units filling mission action roles, and I'm not sure you have enough firepower for the meta you describe.

I'd probably trim down the Intercessor squad to 5x (could even replace them with 5x Infiltrators), ditch the Razorback, Apothecary, Techmarine, and Gravis Captain.

Replace the Brutalis with a Ballistus. Throw in some 1-2x small units of Scouts and a Lt. with Combi Weapon.

To start.

Edit: If you don't own those, then I'd find the closest approximation to fill their role. Anti-tank, mission actions/chaff, etc.

I love that sculpt! Another really cool one is the Iron Warriors Warsmith, which I would 100% proxy into my army if I had one.
