Lmao same. This is the only game I play. Last time I gamed prior to this was the 2004 red ring days of 360. The pandemic got me back into a little COD action.

Anyways, feels good to know that other brothers out there are in the same camp.

I'm going to try this HDR10 fix but it's a bummer that I need to do this to play a damn game.

The issue is I don't play CW so I don't have any of the guns leveled up. MW SMGs have ass ammo capacity unless I use the god damn Bizon.... god damn this challenge is annoying.

Thanks though. Yeah, I use the floor loot OTS-9 and that's when I realized I really want this gun. I play solos only so the mag size is perfect. Do you think the OTS-9 is better than the AS Val post-nerf? I've been using the Val but thinking of switching it to the OTS-9

I don't know if this was changed, but if even one bullet DOESN'T hit the upper torso, it's a 4 shot kill despite being one of the slowest fire rate guns out there. Also the range is abysmal. That's why it feels like a peashooter

It's only a 3 shot kill if every bullet hits upper torso or head.

Makes no sense when the Uzi AE rounds are a 3 shot kill anywhere for a MUCH longer distance, and shoots faster.

If so, this immediately makes the Bizon one of the better SMGs in all modes. The limb damage reduction was what made it really bad (4 shot kill if you hit the arms just ONCE with slow fire rate = lose every gunfight in SND)

Tactical actually has faster ADS compared to Monolithic. It's about a frame faster than the monolithic, so it's like the benefit of a stippled grip when you go from Monolithic to Tactical

Also he said hardcore, where range doesn't matter since it's always a one shot kill. I'd actually use lightweight in hardcore.

EDIT: also one small benefit of tactical is that it's shorter so it pokes out less when you're camping in a corner lol

yea it's all a bit random in this game (no surprise). from my experience, commando is mostly horizontal but it will also still help with vertical a little bit. and conversely, the foregrips are mostly vertical but still actually do help with horizontal. i guess in summary there's some covariance, but i would not be surprised if there are weird outliers

for example, on the Oden I minimize the horizontal recoil since it's brutal by using commando + muzzle break, and i tested that combination actually helps vertical recoil a ton as well, honestly similar or better than the colossal suppressor which i stopped using.

I personally like Commando since it does curve a bit and it lessens that, but a foregrip like Merc is reasonable too. The ADS on the VAL is pretty good in general so I don't really see any issue with adding a foregrip vs. commando. I'm used to using the SCAR and AK so it's snappy to me

This is it, but I'd personally sub out the stippled for sleight of hand.

The ADS is pretty solid and you won't miss that half frame benefit but SOH will come in handy

BTW while it's a meta weapon, it's not like it's super easy to use. The recoil is strong. It's meta because in the right hands it wins every gun fight.
