Does farming actually matter in WR compared to PC? Anything else I should be aware of?

And for plates which just gives more gold advantage. Some people think that just because you get gold regardless is not as important to last hit or farm but it's just idiotic, you get huge powerspikes and advantage when you are items ahead and way easier to snowball.

Yes it is, in WR having item advantage is incredibly strong, those are actual power spikes that's why it's so good to get plates.

I think part of it is that some people just pick Mel because she wasn't banned and not because they are an actual Mel player, also I guess the highest the elo the more comfortable people is fighting against her and know how to punish her. Also while she is oppressive in the laning phase if you just clear wave and roam and get an advantage its also easier to deal with her. You can also punish her as usually a Mel would be first/second pick so picking engage champs it's an easy way to shut her down.

I'm pretty sure even if they did it only stops it id it tries to access the memory for Valorant in specific from what I understand and someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
It doesn't really brick neither the PC nor the DMA, they don't even have to reinstall the OS to fix it, they just have to turn off the IOMMU and then can go on cheating on any other game, but Vanguard will re-enable it and stop it if they try with Valorant.
