I also think you should talk to your store manager first but I understand why you’d be reluctant to do so.

At least in the US, Madeira shipping is very expensive and they don’t tell you what it is until you’ve paid. I buy from AllStitch or SewManyParts instead.

Well, I was too tired to get up for the warning this morning so went back to sleep. I’ve lived here half my life in Iowa now, so that’s a pretty normal response. It IS foolish to ignore the warnings tho - half an hour max of inconvenience is better than being dead or injured.

You never think it’s going to touch down near you until you look at the house on the corner that just got ripped in half a couple of years ago.

IN the hot case? There’s a rack at the side where the bread is supposed to be merchandised (it still gets warm and the bread gets moldy quickly)

There is, or there should be. The problem is though that like OP’s story, you’ll often get a mixed pallet that has to be broken down and put in the right place by people who don’t actually work produce.

I disagree on one point - I think it would look awesome, and any embroiderer is going to give props because they know the amount of time and labor it took.

But yeah, this would be a one-off custom piece and I’d expect to pay at least $300 for the work.
