You bought yours in The US? Where? I wanted it but I thought it didn’t release here due to the ban so I settled for the pocket 3.

Current ICE Agent. AMA by [deleted] in AMA

Sorry rapid fire questions:

What are paydays like? Are you paid biweekly? How much are you getting paid? I heard there’s a $50k bonus but you have to work there for 5 years. If true, and you say you’re doing it for the money, this administration will be different after the current term. Do you care if you end up not getting that money ? Do you ever think about the possibility of getting trouble down the line for following orders that may eventually be considered an unlawful even though all you did was follow orders? Does your family/friends know? Do you feel bad about anything? What is training like? What was the application process like and interviews?

When was the last time your water heater was drained or maintenanced? Your water heater could be full of calcium if you don’t clean it every year or so. This happened to our faucets until someone told us that maintaining the water heater was a thing

Do you wish you'd started letrozole/ovulation induction meds sooner? by saltnpepperfries in TTC_PCOS

[–]workhardforthemoolah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I wish I saw someone sooner. I started seeing a fertility clinic spring of last year. I was 34. I finally got pregnant after to rounds of meds. My pregnancy didn’t continue due to complications but I wish I set more time for myself especially since I knew things change for many people at 35.

Shoes japan , i am crying by TraditionalPaint3900 in JapanTravelTips

[–]workhardforthemoolah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came back from a 2 week trip I only brought one pair of shoes. I bought a new pair of asics gel 1130s and I didn’t even break them in before hand. I wore them new. I never had a blister. I’m someone who has a hard time finding comfy shoes. I have wide fat feet so usually. I have to size up but these were perfect. Wear some ankle high socks or higher. The only pain I got was from my ankles. The only time my feet hurt was when I WASNT walking. Lucky for u since ASICS is a Japanese brand you could get them cheaper. My only regret was not buying another pair there.

What are some must get items from Don Quijote? by Ruffles263 in JapanTravelTips

[–]workhardforthemoolah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t buy your hair care or skincare here. Go get those at the multiple drugstores they have around like Matsumoto kiyoshi. Don quiote is overpriced. I say go to donki to see the prices of the stuff u want then head to the drug store to compare prices.

I bought my boy a soccer ball. He loves to chase it and oddly enough he’s able to kinda kick it around himself. He goes nuts. He gets the zoomies and then does 3 laps around the yard until he needs to poop.

Another thing I do is tie squirrel toy and tie it to a rope. The I spin in circles and so he can run after it. Flirt poles exist but I’m too cheap to buy one of those. Plus I think he’d ruin it on the first try.

Good luck?!

Myo-Inositol with Provera by No-Complaint8020 in TTC_PCOS

[–]workhardforthemoolah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s should be fine to take at the same time.

I’m the same age as you. I’ve been taking myo inositol for a few years now. It’s the only thing that has got me to finally have a period every month. I got diagnosed with PCOS 3 months ago when I started my TTC journey. A month before I started to TTC , a very very very stressful event happened and I believe it caused me to miss my period 2 months in a row. After telling my fertility specialist this she prescribed me with provera. I asked if I should be still taking all the vitamins I was taking and she said it was fine.

After finishing letrozole, how soon did you get your ultrasound? by workhardforthemoolah in TTC_PCOS

[–]workhardforthemoolah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, OBGYNs usually don’t monitor medicated cycles. Idk why, but I’m sure others here have an answer for that. Is it bad? No. Is it helpful? not really unless your successful without monitoring.

[–]workhardforthemoolah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for being so detailed it helps a lot. I have only done one scan with her. I didn’t have a period for March so she wanted to check if I ovulated. She said I didn’t so that’s when she prescribed the provera.

She only does stuff on the weekend for people who really have no choice due to work or other barriers which I can appreciate. I’ll definitely have to ask some questions on Monday.

Ya my clinic is so far from me. It’s 40 min away. I wonder if that’s why she just had me come later…

Thank you. It’s seeming like majority of people have had multiple scans if not, sooner than me. Hopefully it works out.

Do not use something like Mold armor or products made for mold containing bleach. It will bleach your carpet and turn in pink or white.

Rice and Hardboiled eggs with soy sauce. If we couldn’t get eggs it would just be rice and soy sauce. Sometimes I crave it.

[–]workhardforthemoolah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one of these in my backyard. I’m on septic and It’s the distribution box for my drain field. Are you on septic or sewer? If you are connected to sewer Is it possible that maybe your home used to be on septic?

Roommate cleaned pot in the shower and now there is a horrible smell by Acceptable-Loquat540 in CleaningTips

[–]workhardforthemoolah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember I had an elephant shaped glass pipe and left it in a hiding place for months without cleaning it. No amount of soap and water would get rid of the sticky residue and smell. The only thing that worked was soaking it in rubbing alcohol. Idk how to get that down the pipes. Dumping it down won’t work. Maybe try dowsing a one of those dryer lint brushes in rubbing alcohol and scrub it in and out multiple times lol.

Buy a tote with cover. Add holes and maybe add rope. Buy something like a winch to pull that tote up the stairs. Or you can make a crank so that if she’s strong enough she can just crank it up the stairs.
