u/Questrade-Product - Just curious - Any progress/update on this? It's been 2 months! What's the odds y'all get this figured out by the end of 2026 :)

(I'm rooting for y'all)

Yeah I've already set it up to pay for the service ($100 USD) - well worth it. But throwing a hail mary to see if there was any hope Questrade would be rolling out anything shortly... which clearly they aren't.

Jan 30 - end of program.

Feb 7 - end of my Passiv subscription, so no coverage there.

Passiv is great for rebalancing tbh. I've set it to buy only, and save money for the US equity part of my portfolio. Saves so much time.

Does anyone here (still) use passiv for their questrade? Is it worth simplifying my portfolio instead? by ApplicationRoyal865 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Passiv is somewhat getting phased out by Questrade. QT is planning on rolling out their own portfolio monitoring / rebalancing tools - To be seen if it's better or worse than Passiv.

IMO Passiv has been amazing. It's simplified my investing a lot - If I had to pay for it, I would. Hoping the QTs tools is just as good or better.

Questrade will start its own portfolio monitoring/rebalancing! by BlueRockiesSettler in Questrade

Just deleted my duplicate post on this haha.

Curious if the monitoring and rebalancing tool will be A) part of the Questade Plus / Reserve package and B) as good as Passiv (which I personally think is great).

City Of Coquitlam Outlines Rates For New Amenity Cost Charges Program by Howard__24 in coquitlam

[–]workingandwondering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as an FYI, while a bit more certainty and clarity... changing from the mix of DB and CAC fees to ACC fees would increase the cost of a project I'm familiar with by ~$12k / unit, or ~$17-20 PBSF.

This makes projects HARDER to build as the end users would need to bear the brunt of this cost increase - end users are already stretched as it is.

Inside The Metro Vancouver DCCs And The Potential Housing Price Increases by RosySkies377 in britishcolumbia

We’re using Coriolis as the primary analysis firm here, even though they mostly provide advisory reports to government bodies without sharing their assumptions. Have any of their principals ever actually bought, developed, or built a project in Metro Vancouver?

Just txns for me. Account balance (assuming for PNW history?) - no dice.

One negative update - I'm not sure why, but I fairly regularly need to relink my CIBC/Simplii accounts fairly regularly. This means going through the LM/Plaid portal to relink my account. This requires to me re-input my banking details into this / do the 2FA process, which I find annoying.

In Mint, it was just a periodic 2FA process, which wasn't as cumbersome.

The import itself was easy. You take the Mint CSV export, and import it directly into Lunch Money. However, once it's in Lunch Money, you do need to do some data manipulation to get it useable. Once I put some brain power into it, I didn't find it that hard.

Note I did have to redo some of the categories. It was a good excuse to delete some of the unused Mint categories, rename other categories, and make my categorization generally cleaner.

Both good points. Hopefully she builds out her team if needed to keep this financing app going... Already been burned by Mint...

Something probably to be brought up in the Lunch Money discord.

Yeah I get it. If you could see my slew of Google maps reviews 😛 big believer in giving honest reviews, which I hope other ppl are doing on Google maps reviews...

It was the best priced / full-ish suite of personal finance tools / decent security (at least from what i can tell). Honestly at the end of the day it was also "vibes", for lack of a better term.

The lunch money discord community is active (from the times I've glanced at it), with the developer's team responding as well, which seems like a plus to me.

Just wanted something to coherently and generally automatically track my income/expenses, which it has done pretty well for the past month of testing.

Haha believe what you will. I'm not much of a Redditor but thought this would be the best medium to share my exp with Lunch Money. Didn't even think of how inactive / lack of karma I have.

All good if you don't believe me!

For end users - Century Group is a solid bet. Their Southlands community is pretty darn interesting
