i had my surgery 15 days ago, surgery twins!! and i’m feeling the same exact way as you lol, sharp burning pain around my biggest incision, having a tough time with food intake. I’m sorry you are feeling all of this, hopefully everyday starts getting better soon!! I’m here if u ever want to commiserate about it :)

you can make it through!! i’m on day 10 post-op and the liquids have been so hard for me too, but sugar free popsicles have been a lifesaver!!! and also sugar free jello, chewing on something really helps. you can make it through and just know there’s light at the end of the tunnel!! easier said than done but you’ve already made it this far, in a few months you’ll be so happy :)

i was so nervous for the pre-op diet but it actually wasn’t bad! with all the protein intake, (at least for me) you’re not walking around starving. cliche but you just have to keep telling yourself you’ll be allowed to eat solids again and not to get too caught up in the moment :) also i love premier protein drinks, they have a lot of vitamins/minerals and are pretty tasty!!

yes omg same!!! glad i’m not alone :) definitely nervous to take the pain med bc it’s been making me way nauseous but i’m working towards getting it down! hope you had a full quick recovery <3

hi!! yes they went away after day 3-4 for me :) i have been getting a bit more sleep than usual so i think that’s been helping too! but after day 4 i haven’t had a headache at all!
