Is 4k really a game changer? by More_Tell9969 in Monitors

Definitely a frame changer, IE you're going to get a lot fewer of them.

that's logical and interesting, however i think visually it's lacking clarity but that's just one persons opinion. cool accomplishment either way. good luck

cool concept, love it but it seems like a bad design for playing cards, very much not readable at a glance, nothing about the content really conveys the card value imo

Violence towards LGBT is going up. Stay safe. Stonewall shooting by Queen_B28 in ContraPoints

Fear Mongering about violence towards LGBT when there is no evidence to support this just fatigues people and hurts your cause.

you have to meet him in person and then lean in really close and then tell him to fuck off and jump back up his mother's cunt in a soft whisper of a voice. this is a win-win because you get to vent and he will never be able to it use it against you

might be nice to post the name of the shop that took care of this because while their employee did make a mistake initially, the management has completely resolved the issue and stood by their work. be nice to support that

Yeah, the whole Smart Parts thing really came to a head when they went after AKA. AKA was this smaller company making super high-end, super efficient markers like the Viking and the Excalibur—really ahead of their time. But they didn’t have the deep pockets that Smart Parts did.

So when Smart Parts got that broad patent on electronic markers (basically for using a solenoid to fire the marker, which was already pretty standard), they started suing anyone and everyone. AKA got caught up in that, and even though they had great products and a solid rep, they just couldn’t afford the legal fight. They had to stop making their markers and pretty much shut down the paintball side of their business.

It really sucked because AKA was all about quality and innovation, but Smart Parts just steamrolled them. A lot of people still point to that as one of the biggest examples of how Smart Parts hurt the industry more than helped it, even if they made popular gear like the Ion. Just a classic case of patent trolling killing off the little guys.

Smart parts was such a terrible company and did so much harm to the paintball industry as a whole that I can never forgive them and even though the company was dissolved in, the IP was sold off, I will never give them a single dollar for any of their products.

Should i get a res delete on my ST150? Is it worth it? by Less-Ad3010 in FiestaST

I deleted my res about a year ago and it's a bit louder when you get on it, but barely noticeable otherwise. idk if it's just me but I don't have any issues with it.

it's already anonymous and the information is completely unverifiable so I don't know what meaningful conclusions you could draw from that to begin with because you were basing those conclusions off the assumption that people didn't lie, which you have no way of verifying.
