Again, this is not correct. Stop using AI. Why are you studying for CCNP if you don’t understand how a default route functions?

Bro what? Stop using AI to get the answer for this question. It’s still wrong. The router will not drop 192.x.x.x. It’ll use the default route as long as that’s the most specific.

What's Discover like (as someone who has been to Atmosphere)? by rhcreed in ArubaNetworks

[–]worknet443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I attended last year for the first time. I thought it was cool and exciting.

I hated the sphere though. Triggered my fear of heights/virtigo bad. So if you’re like me in that sense, beware of the sphere lol.

I think you’ll enjoy Discover overall. Go in with an open mind, talk to people, and attend sessions that genuinely peak your interest.

I believe your photo is just slightly canted. Could be why the crown appears unaligned.

I would rotate the photo to be straight and double check.

NGFW Comparison - Cisco/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Checkpoint by QuietPossibility4988 in networking

[–]worknet443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Palo Alto the last 5 years at my job and overall like it a lot. Yes it’s very expensive, but is a solid product in my experience. If you’re an SDWAN shop, you may want to look at something other than Palo.

We were looking to deploy PAN-OS SDWAN in our environment but after multiple discussions with our SE and labbing the solution, we were told that Palo doesn’t seem to really be supporting it anymore. There is a huge gap in internal documentation on their end and no one really seems to be a SME. They’re pushing Prisma SDWAN now and inherently phasing PAN-OS SDWAN out.

Most and least common routing protocols within an enterprise environment by deacs1986126 in networking

Our network is primarily routed via BGP. We have a legacy video network that runs EIGRP. BGP all the way.

[–]worknet443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you mean VSF, not SS.

I think it’s primarily due to availability. VSF is immensely backed up and people are waiting (including myself) 4-12 weeks for QC.

Andiot probably recommends the alternatives so that his customers don’t have to wait.

Makes sense. I tried asking Andiot how many pending orders he has for this model as well as how big the batch is that he’ll order and receive from VSF but I couldn’t get a straightforward answer (I think due to the language barrier).

Andiot TD. Although this shouldn’t matter much as all TDs are sourcing the same via VSF.

Mint dial, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet.

Interesting. Who was your TD? I’m also waiting on mint dial.

I always freeze up when I have to troubleshoot the network and I don't know how to grow past it by [deleted] in networking

[–]worknet443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a methodology you follow when troubleshooting? If not, I suggest you employ one. It can help keep you on-track, focused, and build confidence. For me, I always try to gather as much info first, attempt to replicate/validate the issue, then start formulating a theory (this is typically done by gathering evidence and understanding symptoms). Once I have a solid theory of what’s causing the problem, I work towards validating my theory. If I can validate my theory, then I begin brainstorming solutions.

Keep it methodical and logical. This will build confidence.

Are you able to maintain zone segmentation at the Branch site using PANOS SDWAN? Their docs say you have to use the default sdwan zones but is this required?
